Default Probably just in my mind

The beachs at penelton are full of activity.
Back in 90-91 I would take my son to watch as the ships and landingcraft activity was interesting to watch.
Theres a rest stop on 5 where you can park and watch penelton activity.

This is way more than usual.
What is Bush up to now?

Abu Musa, Greater Tunib and Lesser Tunib islands, as close as 60 miles off the coast of the Arabian Penninsula, were taken from the UAE by Iran a few decades ago. They are now bases for facilities including IRGC naval units, an airfield and Silkworm, C-801 and Sunburn anti-ship cruise missiles; and are strategically located within easy striking distance of all shipping and oil facilities in the Gulf and our Fifth Fleet naval base in Bahrain.

presumably you mean pendleton, the marine base?

they're getting ready to attack iran after the election, if the dems win.

do it, bushy nonuts, do it.

course, if he had the testicles of a mouse, he'd attack before the election.

anybody want to bet on that? $50 says he don't have the balls of a mouse.

and another $50 says he's a dirty little backstabber, who only attacks after the election if the dems win, but won't attack if mcbush wins.

Whether we attack Iran, Israel attacks Iran, or Iran retaliates, or attacks, those islands have to be taken. We've had maneuvers simulating amphibious assaults in Korea too. All it means is, we're training for it. And that would be the Marines' role in that theater; if that's what this is about.

They very well could be training for something else we're not aware of yet. It could be for a possible emergency evacuation of US and allied personnel in Lebanon, if things flare up there. Israeli Intelligence believes Iran and Syria will use Hezbollah to attack them if Obama gets elected, to test him.

Oh goody, another country to be policed with taxpayer dollars, with no benefits at all to the american people.

Another multi-trillion load added to the taxpayer debt. Make losses public, and profits private, thats the republican way.

The corporations will be doing happy dances all night long, and taking more hundreds of billions in taxpayer welfare out of the country - and sticking the taxpayer with the debt and the interest.

All I'm saying, is just do it, you republican pussies. Let the taxpayers decide.

Stop strutting like deranged bantie cocks and pull the trigger - pussies.

You won't be saying that when you're bitching about $15 a gallon gas, waiting for hours in rationed gas lines.

At least let Israel do it, to minimize extremist attacks on our soil.

They're really kind of pointless. 35,000 US troops - with 600,000+ South Koreans and over 1,000,000+ North Koreans facing each other. Our guys would be wiped out, just for the sake of having someone there to call a "trip wire".

What counts is US air power in the immediate area and anti-missile defenses. And F-22s are being deployed in the general region and US SM-3 armed Aegis ships are stationed nearby; along with increased defenses by South Korea and Japan.

US Ground troops are no factor in the equation, IMO. With NK having 14,000 artillery pieces and 3500 scud launchers with range of Seoul, they don't even have to cross the border until after everything has been flattened opposing them. Not to mention the half dozen or more nukes they have.

I probably wasnt clear, the caller implied they would be leaving for different duty shortly, he said it was just rumors.
