Default Cindy McCain:"I've Always Been Proud of My Country"

Do we want a First Lady whose never been proud of her country ?

All of us , at one time or another had to have been proud our country at some point in our lives , no matter which side of the fence you were on, this woman has hated the United States of America her whole life , and she's wants to be first lady ?....
Quote:
The Audacity of Hating One's Country--

Since her husband is pulling ahead in the Democratic primary, Michelle Obama said today that for the first time in her adult life she is finally proud of her country.
Breitbart has the amazing video
HERE.
How Sick!

John Podhoretz at
Commentary Magazine had this on Michelle Obama's shocking comments:

Michelle Obama today said that “for the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country. And not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change. I have been desperate to see our country moving in that direction.”

Cindy McCain Responds: "I've Always Been Proud of My Country"

Nice swing, Cindy.

** HERE is the video.

No contest---
Cindy McCain spoke out at a couple of rallies yesterday on the pride she feels for her country.
FOX News You Decide 2008 reported:
“I am proud of my country,” John McCain’s wife, Cindy, said at a campaign stop in Brookfield, Wis., Tuesday. “I don’t know if you heard those words earlier... but I am very proud of my country.”

During a follow up press conference, the Arizona senator was asked if they were responding to Michelle Obama and he deferred to his wife.

She responded: “I just wanted to make the statement that I have and always will be proud of my country.”

An article in the conservative magazine Commentary on Tuesday said Michelle Obama’s comments suggest “the pseudo-messianic nature of the Obama candidacy is very much a part of the way the Obamas themselves are feeling.”
“Can it really be there has not been a moment during that time when she felt proud of her country?” the article asked. “Forget matters like the victory in the Cold War; how about only things that have made liberals proud — all the accomplishments of inclusion? How about the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1991? Or Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s elevation to the Supreme Court?”
Michelle Obama was born in 1964, meaning her adult life began roughly in the early ’80s.

Weekly Standard Editor Bill Kristol said the comment “was sort of revealing.”
“She was an adult when we won the Cold War without firing a shot. She was an adult for the last 25 years of economic progress, social progress,” he told FOX News. “I think the Democrats have to be careful … they’re running against the status quo … You have to be careful not to let that slide into a kind of indictment of America. Because I don’t think the American people think on the whole that the last 25 years of American history is a narrative of despair and nothing to be proud of.”
The conservative blog Hot Air also seized on Mrs. Obama’s comments.
“Only her husband’s run for president has made her proud of America? That’s … extremely narcissistic and self-centered,” the blog posting said. “How sad. I certainly don’t want such a vain pessimist as First Lady.”

White people have always had more to be proud of America for than those of color. They have never been discriminated against just for being white.

Every minority has.

Lady Mod

Who just voted for OBama today.

And by the way, you are editorializing again. She said her adult life not her whole life. AND because she sees people not behaving like sheeple but hungry for a change.

For that I'm proud of my country too. It's about damned time.

You would've been better off grocery shopping Ladymod, you're not a superdelegate and it looks like its going to come down to that at the DNC , Hillary has 234 super-delegates , Obama 165

no way Obama will get the nod

Wisconsin, Lady Mod?

She was an adult when we won the Cold War without firing a shot.

Tell that to Korea, Indochina, and Latin America.

Let's see, for the last 25 years, we've had...

Iraq (and falsified intelligence)
Afghanistan (right after Afghanistan made a diplomatic counter-offer)
PATRIOT ACT (reversing the few Church Committee suggestions that were followed through)
gross negligence in national defense
Rigging voter's roles in Florida; and the Supreme Court (and US media) not really interested in that.
Balkan invasion (right after diplomatic counter-offer)
Way to much focus on a series of blow jobs, by hypocrites
Bombing al-Shifa for...no reason really.
Iraq (and it was so worth putting half a million Iraqi kids through that to discredit a guy that stuck around anyway)
Iran-Contra
Reagan breaking the air traffic controller's strike
The US being condemned for state terror against Nicaragua.

I hope I'm not missing anything, because I can' see that helping your case any.

Nope, nobody has any reason to not be proud of this nation!

“Only her husband’s run for president has made her proud of America? That’s … extremely narcissistic and self-centered,” the blog posting said. “How sad. I certainly don’t want such a vain pessimist as First Lady.”

When they first met, weren't they the only blacks in their law firm? Could it be that she's not merely proud of her husband, but of the progress that was made? Maybe? could be? Huh?

No Cupcake, you are taking her words out of context and twisting them to suit your racist agenda.

Don't count on that Cupcake. When the whole thing started he barely had a prayer of getting this far, much less so close to having it all. A lot of superdelegates have not made decisions yet.

And if he doesn't get it, I'll vote Independent in the general election.

George W Bush , President of the United States of America

1 - Has brought the terrorists responsible for 9/11 to justice,

2 -Toppled the taliban regime and put Afganistan on the path to democracy ,

3 -Protected this country against attack by Saddam Hussein ,

4 -Crushed the Baath party

5 -Killed Saddam's two murderous sons Oueday and Kusay

6 -Captured and brought Saddam Hussein to justice

7 -Has enabled Iraq to have free elections and has put the country on the path to democracy ,

8 -"Convinced" Mohmar Gadafi to turn over his nuclear weapons and become America's ally,

9 -Successfully defended this country from terrorist attack since 9/11 and has foiled many attempts

10 -Disarmed North Korea

11 -Got Mohmar Kadafi to turn over his nuclear weapons program and work with the US to fight terrorism

I can't remember when I've ever been prouder of my country or my president

no terrorist attacks in 7 seven years, I doubt the next president will be able to accomplish that

Forty-five percent still up for grabs
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23147072

Quote:
According to the NBC News Political unit, as of Wednesday, 439 superdelegates have publicly committed to voting either for Clinton or Obama.

That leaves about 45 percent of them still up for grabs --- that is if they haven't made private commitments to either candidate.

But even the ones who have made statements in support of either Clinton or Obama are free to change their minds at any time, right up until the moment that the convention begins balloting in August.

Remember, in two more years they will be up for election too. I don't think they are going to want to piss off the American voters too readily just to appease the Clintons.
