Only a modest minority of Muslims speak Arabic. In fact the most populous Muslim countries DO NOT SPEAK Arabic.

Indonesia, Pakistan & Bangladesh are not Arabic and almost half a billion people.

Then toss in Iran, Nigeria, Turkey, Afghanistan plus various others.

So how are these countries held together in Islam without Arabic?

Here is a clue for you Chief, the vast majority of the people in the countries I listed which comprise the bulk of the Islam DO NOT SPEAK Arabic. Like most other countries they have their own language and varous other dialects. You can of course speak Arabic when you are there, but you can also speak Arabic in the US but that doesn't magically mean the language of the US is Arabic now does it.

But not doing a very good job of it when it comes to the modern evolution of Islam. One could also study the history of Christianity and the languages that were part of its evolution and you'd find how very different they are today.
