Default The Nadler Pardon Resolution - will Dems block Bush attempt to pardon Bush crimes?

This is kinda interesting - a NY rep has entered a bill to reform the presidential pardon process, starting with Bush.

The bill contains a requirement that the next attorney general prosecute the Bush admin members.

    It probably won't pass.

Representative Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) introduced a bill that would reform the presidential pardon process. Specifically, that the current president be stripped of his power to pardon members of his own administration, and that "the next Attorney General of the United States appoint an independent counsel to investigate, and, where appropriate, prosecute illegal acts by senior officials of the administration of President George W. Bush."

It won't pass in any way shape or form. Even if it does there are safe places for people to retire in Dubai and South America. Even if Dick did something, I'm not saying that he did, he'll just transfer back to Haliburton in the Dubai headquarters and carry on the PNAC's work from there.

Gonzales will never serve any time no matter what he's done and neither will anyone else. Most of the Nixon administration avoided any issues. Many of the the Bush staff were involved with Nixon and Americans were stupid enough to elect them and support them.
