Asians' eyes are said to have developed from living in windy areas. It is an adaptation to keep dust, etc. out of the eyes.

Women have been painting their lips to resemble another pair of lips for a long time. As man evolved to walk upright, the sex signals moved up to eye level. It is speculated that women's breasts enlarged to resemble buttocks, and lips were enhanced to resemble other lips. There may also be an extra cooling benefit from fuller lips.

That's a good theory on asian eyes, but I haven't seen evidence they experienced more dusty wind. From what I've seen, Asians are more recent than Whites. Whites have some weird characteristics like freckles, even eye color.

The lip explanation is also suspicious. I agree the analysis of sexual display has merit, but the lip cooling is a little out there.

Well, I'm not sure where the central Asian population originally developed. There is speculation that it originated in high plains areas like the Mongols and then spread eventually to Japan, and South wards. I haven't seen any evidence about when races emerged.

Yes, the cooling part isn't tested. But one would assume that Northern peoples developed thinner lips to limit heat and moisture loss. So the opposite should apply to.
