I'unno. Seems like it would have to be proven beyond doubt for any action to be taken.

Why do you ask? Do you feel the need to distance yourself with your "Gary" account due to the fact that "Gary" is now synonymous with "moron" based on the idiotic nature of a very high percentage of your posts?

Seems that the paranoia Cotton created with his sock accounts, is still going on here.

Fat Bastard was banned, supposedly for being a sock.

Who exactly decides who the socks are?

Whoever it is, seems to be wrong as often as they are correct.

Maybe I'll post here when this place gets its collective shit together re. memberships.

Legislation for the middle class? HELL NO!

"Argumentum Ad Numerum" ask your pollster about it today.

Computers have IP addresses, so unless someone wants to use two internet IP connections and pay for it to have a sock, it's going to be obvious to the people who run the website. They know your IP address and what software you have on your computer. I've been on political sites that won't allow proxy software on your computer that hides your IP address, whether it's activated or not. Websites have internet security tools.

Yes, but there are other options to hide IP, and this board doesn't have a problem with it.
