He's just going to get better and better.
I don't know if he's going to get better, but he's clearly not ready for the NFL right now. That should have been painfully obvious to the coaching staff before they put him in there.
Best case scenario - he sucks for a while and learns from his mistakes since it's clear the coaching staff isn't capable of grooming him correctly. Worst case scenario, he becomes the laughing stock of the NFL with a 25% pass completion percentage, his confidence becomes shattered and it all goes downhill from there.
He strikes me as the kind of guy who has a propped-up confident outlook - meaning that it's on shaky ground, but I could be wrong.
Starting him at this point is a mistake.
