I was there to see a friend for just one day and I loved it...you will not want to go back home...

Near Marco Island, think Tarpon Spring is the sponge diving,can even head staight across the 'Glades to Hotel Row ( Altantic Beaches).
Take "Alligator Alley right across the glades, nothing but you and nature, and tourist stops/ bait store/ airboat rides on the side of the road.

So much to do, google a visitors bureau site.

The weather is FINALLY BELOW 90 - or will be in a week or so.

Gulf Coast might be cooler.

didving is always great, amazing coral reefs, and tropical fish.

Not sure about Napels though - but diving anywhere down her is an experience, not to be missed.

you are set. if you can find a reef, there are manmade ( sunken ships), and natural.
