For sake of balance, here are some observations about "standard bearer" Rand Paul by a supporter:

It's no more opinion than The Washington Examiner, The American Thinker and other nutso blogging outlets. But you're right and at least you understand that.

I always thought Rand Paul was smart.

I can't believe how dumb he and his arguments are. So easily beatable.

Indeed, assuming the citizenry is informed. And humane. And evolved.

    We'll see.

Oops, excuse me, didn't mean to crash your Marxist party.
The Shadow Party derives its power from its ability to raise huge sums of money. By controlling the Democrat purse strings, the Shadow Party can make or break any Democrat candidate by deciding whether or not to fund him. During the 2004 election cycle, the Shadow Party raised more than $300 million for Democrat candidates, prompting one of its operatives, MoveOn PAC director Eli Pariser, to declare, 'Now itís our party. We bought it, we own itÖ'

Smart....not from what I saw on Rachel Maddow. Even he sees it as a huge mistake.

The man is more interested in individual rights than human rights. He wants you to be able to make a living without the law telling you to serve everyone. He is simply a nut.

Actually he doesn't believe in the government requiring you to hire based on color of your skin versus your actual qualifications. Character, experience, and past work history is what everyone should be looked at for work, not I am a minority and should receive special considerations even if I am unqualified for the position.
