Man I must have been really bored last night becuase I actually watched a Congressional Hearing on CSPAN about the closures of Chrysler and GM Dealerships.

Man it was boring as hell. Then.........................one of the questioners (belive it or not a Democrat) made the following statement as he was ranting about the unfairness of whose business was being closed and who got to keep their dealerships.

It seems, according to this Congressman, that Barney Frank has a dealership somewhere in the Northeast and he, BARNEY BOY, was able to simply make a telephone call to someone and his dealership was allowed to stay open.

I don't know if it was a Chrysler dealer or a GM Dealer but neither of the CEO's for these companies could provide the telephone number one could call to save their dealership.

Bet it makes those whose dealerships have been in their families for generations feel real warm and fuzzy.

At what point should BARNEY be investigated for graft and/or corruption? At what point can someone say he is using his "official position" for personal gain?

When does this stop? Where is our "ATTORNEY GENERAL" on this? Will the Feds start and investigation? Will Congress? Will our President? Will some U.S. Attorney do something? Please?

GM delays closing parts center in Rep. Barney Frank's district

David Shepardson and Gordon Trowbridge / Detroit News Washington Bureau

General Motors Corp. will delay the planned closing of two parts centers including one in a key member of Congress' district, the company said Friday.
The center in Norton, Mass., sits in the district of Rep. Barney Frank, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee. Hours after the announcement, members of Michigan's congressional delegation took the unusual step of announcing it would seek a meeting with GM CEO Fritz Henderson to discuss the seven facilities GM plans to close or idle in Michigan.
Rep. John Dingell, D-Dearborn, and Rep. Fred Upton, R-St. Joseph, wrote Henderson to request the meeting on behalf of the entire delegation.

I don't know what you would expect from him.

He has no integrity at all.

I hope he will be voted out in the next election.

He can go get his first private sector job.

Good point but DAMMIT, shouldn't we be able to expect some honesty and honor by these people.

ANother good reason to unelect every single member of Congress and start over.
