Dems say they will stand up to terrorists (despite their recent "Surrender At All Costs" bill) - yet they are afraid to debate on Fox News
What is up with the Dems?
So far no Republicans have refused to debate on CNN or MSNBC
Dems had their Blame Bush debate on MSNBC the other night and were asked sof ball questons
I thinks it's fine if the Republicans only debate on fox.

Libs must - they are scared of both the terrorists and Fox news
It's market rules. If the dems don't wanna buy what Fox is selling, they don't have to.
End of story.

Why not go on the #1 watched cable news network?
Tough questions from objective reporters? There would be other reporters from the other networks as well - but Dems have this fear of Fox for some reason

I think when you can buy books to help you translate the lies spewed from Fox News you tend to think that maybe the station is bias.

I know CNN and MSNBC tilt very left
Fox News is fair and balanced
Market rules. We buy the services we want, from whom we want.
You're pushing a non-issue.
If fox wants to make the dems a better offer, nothing is stopping them.

News should not be a service
If it should not be a service, then it should be subject to strict government regulation.
You can't claim "News is a business, we only provide what the public wants.", on the one hand, then cry when the public decides to buy from another source on the other.
Like I said, if Fox wants the dems, it can seek their business.
If the dems don't want to buy Fox business, that is their right.
I don't hear any democratic voters complaining that they can't watch the debates on FOX.
The only people complaining are those who would benefit politically from it.

By Dems showing their fear of Fox News - they show they fear being exposed in the light of day
The debate on MSNBC was the usual Bash Bush BS and they went unchallenged by the liberal media mods
If Dems will not stand up to fox News how will they stand up to terrorists?
Oh, they aren't
Sorry
It's not fear, it's a market choice.
When I decide to go to walmart to buy cat food and ammo, it's not because I'm afraid of kmart.
If I was hiring a contractor to fix my house, I'd be foolish to hire one with a bad reputation.
Now that's something to be legitimately afraid of - a contractor with a bad reputation.

Libs hate Fox News because they do give both sides - something libs are not use to
For many years, the liberal media could slant the news and there was nobody to call them on it
Now with Fox News, they have competition - and they do not like it
Now you've descended into mere sloganeering.
I gather you have no response to the market argument.
Slogans are the last refuge of the man who has used up all his bullets.

Fox News is #1 in the ratings. If Dems were smart they would go with the market leader
But they want sympathetic reporters from CNN and MSNBC to ask the questions
Tommy

and still no response to the market argument just more talking points
this person posts no credible sources to back up anything he or she says
and when they get stuck its just talking points and slogans
but thats how they debate. They must take them aside and teach them that at the national convention or something:taunt:

That does happen often with liberals
So what if they do? That's their choice.
Their market doesn't watch Fox.
Pretty much by definition no dems watch fox. Why then should the dems care what fox wants, or what questions fox asks?

Alot of Dems watch Fox News
Remember Tommy Daschle whining on the Senate floor after the 02 midterms?
He said how his office was flooded with emails from his supporters Fox News and Rush Limbuagh slanted the news
Plus Fox News have more liberals on to give their views then CNN and <SNBC have conservatives by more then two to one
I guess Fox should be doing a better job of selling that feature to the Dem pols, then.
Sounds like somebody at fox isn't doing their job very well.
Personally, I ain't never heard a dem or lib talk about how much they like the Fox news.

Try listening to some of the libs Fox has on
They range from liberal reporters, to former Dem Congressmen, and heads of Presidential campaigns
Of course they are dismissed as "not real liberals" by the Fox news haters
If fox wants dems to listen, they are welcome to try marketing their pitch to dems.
It's a free country.

So if republicans listen then what about the way Bill Oriely treated this guy?
O'REILLY: In respect for your father...
GLICK: On September 14, do you want to know what I'm doing?
O'REILLY: Shut up. Shut up.
GLICK: Oh, please don't tell me to shut up.
O'REILLY: As respect -- as respect -- in respect for your father, who was a Port Authority worker, a fine American, who got killed unnecessarily by barbarians...
GLICK: By radical extremists who were trained by this government...
O'REILLY: Out of respect for him...
GLICK: ... not the people of America.
O'REILLY: ... I'm not going to...
GLICK: ... The people of the ruling class, the small minority.
O'REILLY: Cut his mic. I'm not going to dress you down anymore, out of respect for your father. We will be back in a moment with more of THE FACTOR.
GLICK: That means we're done?
O'REILLY: We're done.

That exchange was towards a punk whose father was killed on 9-11, and the kid said the US government was behind the attacks
Nice try
I'm not sure why I'm supposed to care what O'Reilly said or didn't say.
I can't tell if there's a point you are trying to make.
And I don't see what this has to do with market forces.

He didnt really listen and the kid didnt really have a chance to say what he wanted to :
O'REILLY: I don't want to debate world politics with you.
GLICK: Well, why not? This is about world politics.
O'REILLY: Because, No. 1, I don't really care what you think.
GLICK: Well, OK.

O'REILLY: In the "Personal Stories" segment tonight, we were surprised to find out than an American who lost his father in the World Trade Center attack had signed an anti-war advertisement that accused the USA itself of terrorism. The offending passage read, "We too watched with shock the horrific events of September 11... we too mourned the thousands of innocent dead and shook our heads at the terrible scenes of carnage -- even as we recalled similar scenes in Baghdad, Panama City, and a generation ago, Vietnam." With us now is Jeremy Glick, whose father, Barry, was a Port Authority worker at the Trade Center. Mr. Glick is a co-author of the book "Another World is Possible." I'm surprised you signed this. You were the only one of all of the families who signed...
JEREMY GLICK: Well, actually, that's not true.
He didnt say what Bill tried to make him out to say.
I dont really think he creams CNN. CNN is a world wide service. Fox News is pretty much limited to America. In the UK we have pretty much all the Liberal programs. We dont have Bill.

Bill is not on Sky News. If he is it is early morning as I have never seen it.
Sky News is also a subscription channel that has a very low amount of viewers as most people watch News24 from the BBC. The BBC world service is also the biggest news channel in the world which is pretty much 100% liberal.

Yeah right. The BBC which is world renowned for unbiased factual reporting. I suppose you have a poll from FoxNews that states that every British soldier said "Oh I cant take it anymore this left wing slant from the BBC. Please Bill let us watch you on FoxNews".
Grow up Mr red state who lives in a liberal area.
