Its very simple. Liberals are out enjoying life, not sitting inside listening to some clown tell them why not to go outside. Liberals enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds whereas right wingers are pettrified they might brush up against someone who's of a different race or religion.

or is it liberals can't compete with conservatives on an even playing field?

I still reckon listening to Rushs bollocks is good background shagging music. Even if the girl is crap you can still have a laugh.

Libs are pissed because eveytime they take on Rush or Sean - they lose and lose badly

Same way with CNN and MSNBC going up against Fox News

Libs hate it when people choose a diffenent outlet for news and what is going on in politics

also Liberals aren't so viciously Partisan

I watch fox news, I read conservative authors

but partisan hacks like ...

would never read a book by a liberal author
they only wanna hear one side of an argument and come up with an opinion that supports that one side

Liberals are much more open minded and like to hear both sides of the argument before forming an opinion

Is that why liberal talk show hosts openly hoped for the murder of Pres Bush?

Libs are open mined their brains fell out of their head

They are? I've always found obsessively devoted political hacks all share the same qualities.

It's the problem with America...too many people devoted to their political party to the point of it reaching a fanaticism that's only found in certain religious sects. Brainwashed with the party line, armed with staid talking points, these messiahs from both parties are leading America to a great fall because compromise is no longer in the Washington vocabulary.

When Clinton was president, the liberal media bellowed how the Republican Congress had to work with pres Clinton

Now, the liberal media bellows how Pres Bush has to learn to work with the Dem Congress

This is composmise the liberal way

Mr. Blue

Neither side compromises...Welcome to America, home of black and white politics where no shades of gray are welcome.

compromise to libs is when Republicans give them want they want

your 100% right about that but in my experence Libs are a bit more open minded. More willing to change their minds after getting new infomation

but that could be just in my little corner of the world

Libs are open minded? When did that happen?

Mr. Blue
04-29-2007, 04:27 PM
compromise to libs is when Republicans give them want they want

...and the reverse is just as true. It must be really easy to be a member of the Church of Politics, it becomes so easy to point the finger of blame at one group and absolving your own group for the same action.

Republicans caved on "power sharing" when they took office in 94, and Pres Bush extended his hand to Dems on may occassions

I see where that got Republicans

Well, yeah in some areas depending on what we're talking about. The problem with some Republicans is they mix religion with their politics and that definitely serves to strengthen their resolve in some areas.

I kind of miss when Republicans just worshiped the dollar...they were a lot more rational back then and I could agree with them on quite a few issues.

When Joe Lieberman mentiond his Religion in his VP acceptance speech I do not recall any howls from the left

Or when Hillary and Obama campaign in black southern Churches - there is silence

If it were not for double standards - liberals would have no standards at all

Mr. Blue
04-29-2007, 04:52 PM
Umm...Anyone that's not a republican is a liberal to you? I'm an Independent that thinks both parties are destroying America. Religion and politics don't mix and the second religious doctrine starts dictating policy I have a problem with it. I strongly believe in a separation of church and state...I don't want my politicians praying for answers.

red states rule

Independent? Are they the ones who cannot make up their minds on an issue

What the country needs is not seperation of church and sate but seperation of liberalism and state

Using that line is why kids cannot sing Christmas carols or have a Christmas party in school or the ACKLU will come in and threaten to sue

Mr. Blue
04-29-2007, 05:16 PM
No, an Independent like myself is a free thinker that can view issues based on the merit of the issue. I don't agree with Reps on some issues, I don't agree with Dems on some issues, and I have my allegiance to America and wanting politicians to follow through with policies based on that question, "What's best for America?" and not "What's best for my political party?"

Now, I'll show you an example of how an Independent like myself views the issue of Christmas cards, carols, etc. I have absolutely no problem with people celebrating their holidays in which ever manner they want. There's more important issues that the government should be dealing with than Merry Christmas.

I will wait to see your reaction when the ACLU starts it's annual war on Christmas. It usually starts in November

As a Reagan conservative I see how bad the Dems are for America and the producers that make Amercia work

Mr. Blue
04-29-2007, 05:26 PM
I like Christmas...Even though I'm not affiliated with any religion and I'm a borderline Atheist on any given day of the week. I still enjoy Christmas and all the trappings of it...so seriously, I have nothing against Christmas.

I look forward to your responses backing me when I post how the ACLU attacks Christmas

The fact that you right wingers have people like " Mush Windbag" & "Shit Hannity' out there running their know nothing mouths says all you need to know about the right wing. In case you're having a hard time figuring it out it's that you're on your way out so better wave bye-bye.

Great pissing contest here. Anyway, terms like conservative and liberal mean very little. True conservatives and true liberals are few and far between. Statism is the preferred way now. Most peopel today who declare themselves liberals or conservatives are actually statists.
