If you were unfortunate to see Rove attempt to show he was " with it " by trying to dance at the White House corresspondents dinner or Bush attempting to show he " felt the rythm" at an event Wendsday, then if you're white you must be thinking, " no wonder people think white people can't dance". So you have to ask yourself, " are these 2 purposely promoting this stereotype so that they can promote stereotypes about other people or are they too stupid & lazy to take a few dance lessons"? That was disgusting & embarrassing but then again I read an article about how the columnist David Brooks & his wife put up a dance floor in their backyard for a party they had & no one used it. I guess their guests saw it as a trick to see who was really white & who wasn't. Hell I don't know, how else can you explain something that pitiful.

I dont like to dance but once in awhile its unavoidable

Umm yeah...they purposely danced badly to perpetuate a stereotype. :disbelief:
Here's just a random thought...perhaps they were put into a situation where they had to dance and they wanted to appear "human" and lighthearted. As a general rule you'll see this type of action coming from politicians as they occasionally like to pretend to be humans even though we all know the contrary to be true.

Anyone who doesn't want to look stupid, especially if you're in the public eye, would make sure they could dance a little. Maybe they were trying to make the rest of the "white" GOP feel like they had something in common with them.

Bush = Stupid. Are you seeing where I'm going with this?
Oh yes, Bush purposely danced to send out a secret racial message, LOL.
This is a man that can't say the word NUCLEAR!!! If he doesn't have a grasp of the English language and has no worries about it...do you think he really cares about dancing and making himself look stupid?

Well it's obvious at this point that the only thing that Bush feels he's good at is making himself look stupid. He did say " that he's always has benefited from low expectations".
