Gibbs response just shows the arrogance of this administration. Did he REALLY expect anyone to believe that line? I think he did. I believe that they think that they are so much smarter than everyone else that they can say ANYTHING and Americans will just believe it. I guess it comes from all of the favorable coverage that they have received over the last 2 years.

I would have loved to see Tapper or anyone without a man crush on Obama, stand up and call him on this. Ask if he really believed that they were dumb enough to believe what he had just said.
