Liz Cheney puts MSNBC's Norah O’Donnell in her place about the issue of torture and waterboarding.
For those of you whiners who don't think waterboarding was a widely accepted tactic, or are clueless to it's effectiveness, check out the video link below. You might also see just how biased the media is, as Cheney points out out of context reports and what the liberal media did not tell the American people.

Very cool.
The reporterette probably had to retire to the "Green Room" for a good cry following that slap-down.

Liz Cheney was solid in her explanation, probably did better than most people on this topic, and there's a void in the GOP that more of their representatives, leaders, etc, can't express their ideas in a focused way like that.

She did great in that aspect. Maybe she will become the new face of the republican party. She's certainly off to a good start.

Water boarding is torture to anyone who claims it is.
Either way, it's irrelevant to my response. I'm not going to get into a debate whether or not water boarding is torture, or whether it 'works.' The means never justify the ends.
However, what is interesting is Cheney sending his daughter (who by the way is currently helping him write a book) to stubbornly defend his legacy.
He doesn't want to be remembered as the guy who pushed for the implementation of state torture during the Bush presidency.
But he will be, and there's nothing he can do about it.
Dick clearly just wants his views, at the very least, to be in the public record.
Well, now we've heard from him and his daughter.
I predict he will creep back into the shadows shortly.

She certainly showed an intelligence in the ability to debate the points. Whether I agree or not, doesn't really matter, as I think one of the most important qualities in a politician is to explain their positions in an intelligent manner. Liz Cheney would be a better choice for the party than Sarah Palin.
