Hi,

I am from London and thought I would drop by to ask what peoples views are on this book with regard to Al Frankens books? I have read all of them, including the fictional book "Why Not Me?", and was interested to know how factually correct they are?

With the legal nature in the US to take people to court for libel I am guessing they must be pretty much 100% although Ann Coulters books also dont seem to generate legal cases.

From what I have read on this board I am guessing this place has a liberal bias so I would presume the majority of you would have read Al Frankens books and would most probably agree with his views.

BTW if you want a great read his fictional book "Why Not Me?" had me laughing so hard my next door neighbour who is a playwright (Tom Stoppard) though I was in some sort of pain! :lmao2:

Al Franken is an american teasure. His book " Rush Limbaugh Is A Big Fat Idiot", upset Limbaugh ( who I like to refer to as "Mush Windbag") so much that he actually lost weight, but alas, he's back to being "A Big Fat Idiot". Winbag really gets bent out of shape over how easily Franken can ridicule him. Franken is seriously considering running for the senate from Minnesota. If he won, it'd be the greatest event that has happened to politics in the U S for quite sometime.
