Obama has indeed inherited a bunch of problems that aren't exactly his fault.

Except that he held and holds to the philosophies that precisely arrived us here, the worst of W-nomics---deficits, bailouts, redistribution, lack of accounting...

But he's so young, our new president, and obviously inexperienced.

I don't know how fair it is (as if politics even needs to be fair) to blame Obama for the drug war that threatens SURELY to spill over into US border towns, indeed, already has.

Before he ran for president, Obama never really DID anything.

Yes, I think all can agree---the kid became president at about the worst possible time.

There's one thing, tho, he can be grateful for.

At least he's president in a world with no Saddam Hussein making things miserable for him.

It certainly would make foreign affairs SUPREMELY more difficult for Barak Obama were the Baathists still running Baghdad.

I sure hope our new Commander in Chief and his State Dept don't screw up what's going on over there.

It isn't as tho' he went into this bullpucky with his eyes closed. He knew the economy was bad and had been for many months. He knew there was a jumbled up set of problems that were going to require immediate attention. And are still many others that haven't been attended to as yet.

We all know what he did or didn't do before he became prez. That's history. What's important is where he is taking our country now. Is it going to remain intact? Or is it going to be ripped apart and sold off to the highest bidder, so to speak?

Don't judge him by his age, what he did or didn't do, but by what he is doing while in the White House, and the changes he makes.
