Doctor Obama the Auto Mechanic's tripartite prescription for what plagues the American people---Energy, Education, Health Care Reform---is at heart much more about partisan politics than pure prognosis.
For instance, Obama's energy program is tinted entirely PC Green, ie, NOT the color of money.
His plans pertaining to power production are all about punishing pollution, ie, NOT economics.
Indeed, in time of DEPRESSION, when America's very survival depends precariously on EMPLOYMENT, Obama's Cap and Trade portends to PLUNDER hundreds of thousands of our few remaining BEST jobs.
While with its other heavy hand, cap and trade puts the punitive pinch on every PURCHASER of electricity, gasoline, home heating oil...
Cap and Trade is Doctor O the Auto Mechanic's Hoot-Smawley.
All agenda.
NO cure.
Now, health care, according to our floppy eared practitioner, must be FIXED fundamentally before Wall Street can ever again be made safe for AIG bonuses to go forward, and bailouts for every deadbeat bagman with a beef.
Particularly which pink pills we're all to pop before phoning in the morning Dr O the Auto Mechanic...
Well, he seems to have lost the label.
But they appear to have all to do with putting medical records on line.
Like Elaine Benes' bad attitude.
But Bigears is more comic than Kosmo Cramer.
His suggestion that the cure for 20% annual inflation in medical costs---over FIVE FULL DECADES---is simply to put all that messy handwriting on a COMPUTER qualifies only for LOL! therapy.
And, unfortunately, Dr O the Auto Mechanic has not offered one hint more of specificity.
You know how close mouthed the white coats can be.
In BOTH professions.
Early indications are that the language (in Latin, most likely) in Ms P's budget blueprint is:
Those currently insured are benignly left in peace.
But those malignant tumors amongst us, our uninsured neighbors and friends, are treated with the very regimen applied to California drivers.
That is, anyone caught BREATHING without coverage is FINED.
Rather severely, I would expect.
Last I checked, in CA the ticket you get for not being able to provide proof of insurance is $1576.
And, then, of course, you gotta call State Farm as soon as you pay the Judge.
Except, the HOSPITAL is more likely to be Kaiser.
A tidy $500 a month.
For that young couple with a kid.
The particular target of Dr O the Auto Mechanic's abundanza of benificence.
He works at Petsmart.
She's an in between jobs temp.
They still gotta do Day Care cuz gramma's got the car.
And they're already out $1000 a month for bankrupted, govt mandated retirment insurance, spelled soc sec.
Dr O the Auto Mechanic's got some grease under his fingernails.
He needs to SCRUB.
