These are good articles - naming the banks involved and their reasons; mostly involving direct government control of their entire business, micro-managing everything they do - amounting to nothing less than nationalizing the US banking system, without publically acknowledging the power grab.

Now tell me, does anyone actually expect those billions of dollars to be applied back toward the exising funds? Or will it just disappear in the Washington "Slush Fund".........

No it will all be hoovered back up by AIG & Citigroup.
AIG is propping up banks around the globe. Hemorrhaging tens of billions a month.
Still paying out on all those Credit Default Swaps.
Did you know if DC hadn't made CDSs explicitly unregulated many [most?] states would have regulated them as gambling?

That's why SirMoby can't let go of mocking her with his avatar.
He knows how much potential she has - so she must be continually attacked by every means.

She will bring white trash back to the whitehouse, in spades.
Her sister-in-law just got arrested for burglary.
Maybe next time she won't go into some incoherent rant when Katie Couric asks her a topical question, eh?
not in this lifetime. lol

Potential, she's an idiot that couldn't even name a newspaper she read. If she ever gets elected, I'm moving to another country...

But of course. The degree of assault on her and her family only shows how
big a threat she is to the dark side.
Sarah rocks!

Smurf, how many flat out lies are you going to make up? Stop lying. You should be mature enough to stop these childish lying games, shouldn't you?

Okay then, it's My Opinion as to why you use her avatar.
So please enlighten me, why do you continue to use an avatar of someone no longer running for office in Washington?
I mean, it's not like someone hasn't brought it to your attention dozens of times.
It's just you getting your kicks, I guess?

No, I let you guys get a few jabs in here and there. I just expect you all to know when it's time to chill. And that covers continually dogging someone.
I brought up SM's avatar after a long time of ignoring it. If you haven't noticed, I've toned down my wording a bit since I became a mod. But I still feel SM keeps that avatar just to mock Palin. And she came up in discussion, which brought SM's avatar back to mind.

What is wrong with SirMoby's avatar?
She is the one who winked on national television.
How can you mock reality? it actually happened.
Of course that incoherent interview with Katie Couric was just bizarre.
SNL could use direct quotes & it was outrageously funny.
Sarah's marbles aren't all rolling in the same direction.

He denies leaving it there to mock her.
He says I'm "lying" - but I just don't believe his denial.
That's all there is to it.

No, he is just employing a common liberal tactic. He cannot defend his party's actions and comment intelligently on the topic, so he hopes to help SM and re-direct the discussion.
