Abstinence students still having sex
Study tracked 2,057 young people in government-funded programs

WASHINGTON - Students who participated in sexual abstinence programs were just as likely to have sex a few years later as those who did not, according to a long-awaited study mandated by Congress.
Also, those who attended one of the four abstinence classes reviewed reported having similar numbers of sexual partners as those who did not attend the classes, and they first had sex at about the same age as their control group counterparts — 14 years and nine months, according to Mathematica Policy Research Inc.

You mean getting kids to promise not to put their genitalia in the opposite sex when they are 8, and the opposite sex has cooties, doesn't keep them from wanting to touch some boobies or kiss a boy when they are 14?

Color me amazed! :lmao2: Who'd a thunk it?

Why did God give adolescents those naughty hormones and boobies and lustful thoughts at 14 anyway? Oh, thats right, back in bible times, a 14 year old girl would be just ripe to sell to your rich old cousin for a couple of goats, and the 14 year old boys would be given a spear and sent off to kill the tribe over the hill, and rape and steal their daughters.

I'll bet those father-daughter chastity "balls" are gonna work, tho. Make a 13 year old girl swear to her daddy she'll keep her legs tightly closed til her wedding day, and he gives her a ring, and promises to deliver a virgin to her future hubby...

That's gotta work.

We, you, me, all of us...experience life in seasons, mostly 7 year cycles. In other words, what you feel, want and do, are very different at age 7, 14, 21, etc. If one misses seasons through circumstances, there is no remake, no catch-up, you've lost those experiences (along with those illusions you had at that season)forever.

It's just like a religious fanatic to cheat their own children of the most poignant and lasting sexual experiences a person is capable of having when all is tentive exploration...the mother of all WOW...GEEs!

I think part of the problem is trying to black out any sort of sexual info or media from them, I am not saying to let them watch dirty movies but I feel they should be informed about everything: condoms, stds, etc etc

you see these parents they try this sort of North Korea censorship style of information, thats never gonna work
