View Full Version : How many Obama conspiracy theories do we have now?
Here are some off the top of my head.
1. In 1961 a hospital, a news paper, the Hawaii government and many others started a conspiracy to make Obama President 47 years later.
2. His birth certificate is fake and no one at the Hawaii Department Of Health knows what a birth certificate looks like, although Sean Hannity does.
3. He's a Muslim. (Everyone that hates our Constitution cares about that)
4. He caused the recession even though it started in Decemeber 2007.
5. He caused the banking crisis even though the industry practices that lead to the failure started before he was even a US senator.
6. Obama wants a one world government even though the guys that wrote this hate him http://www.carnegieendowment.org/publications/index.cfm?fa=view&id=276
7. It's all George Soro's fault even though we don't know how or why but Rupert Murdoch and Lowry Mays keep telling us that.
8. He should be able to fix 8 years of terrible economic policy in 6 weeks.
9. He's a Marxist.
10. He's a Socialist even though he's never done anything that people on this board defined as Socialism.
10 seems like a good start. Does anyone want to offer more?

I don't believe that at all SirMoby, however I do believe that he is intentiionally trying to make our economy tank in order to make us more dependent on the government.
So far none of his policies seem to be working, the stock market keeps dropping , employment is nearing double digits and there is more pork contained in the stimulus package than the was in the last two administrations before him.
And on top of it all he wants to raise taxes.
How about telling me something good about what he has done so far to stimulate the economy.

Moby, as many conspiracy theories as there are about Bush...
It seems this is a new fun element to add to political wrangling. I think it's a distraction from real issues so people can actively be scared...because we need to be scared, we need to think there's a boogieman in the closet.

Barack Hussein Obama was a memeber of and recieved the endorsement of Democratic Socialists for America , the largest socialist party in the US, here he is pictured with members of the DSA .

...and let's not forget his conversation with Joe the Plummer, in which he stated ...."all I want to do is SPREAD THE WEALTH"
That sounds like someone who has a socialist philosphy to me SirMoby.
Can you tell me want he meant when he said "spread the wealth" ?

I thought there were really only 2 Bush conspiracy theories.
1. He knew about 9/11 before it happened.
2. He know about Iraq not having WMD
Remember how insane those people were?
I think the Neoconservative media that spent so much time trying to convince Americans to give up freedom, allow government to become big brother and to let trickle down economics works needs a scape goat.
Their leader even said that he hopes the economic policies fail.
So far none of his policies seem to be working, the stock market keeps dropping , employment is nearing double digits and there is more pork contained in the stimulus package than the was in the last two administrations before him.
If the economy can be turned in 6 weeks then why didn't Bush do that in December 2007?
Why did Reagan wait 2 years before he started improving unemployment?
Why didn't Bush just do whatever magic and keep the stock market at 14,000?
Do you really think that it can be fixed in 6 weeks? You're not even that gullable.
11. He is delibrately driving our economy into ground in order to ram socialism down our throats.
Are you sure the economy wasn't already driven into the ground?

No. There was the 9/11 he knew it before it happened. 9/11 was a complete government conspiracy and Bush was an evil genius...you know, the guy that can't even pronounce Nuclear right. Iraq, WMDs, oh and there was a group of people, even on this forum, that was saying Bush wouldn't give up the reigns of power.
I believe Bush to be probably the most incompetent Presidents ever. Believing that allowed me to dismiss the more wild conspiracy theories, but hell Moby, look at the longest thread on this forum...it was a 9/11 thread that went like 30 friggin' pages long.
Now it's turning on Obama. Do I believe Obama is intentionally trying to destroy the economy? Nope. lol, I mean I think he's making some serious mistakes, but I don't think he's sitting in the oval office, rubbing his hands together, and doing a fiendish evil mad genius laugh (mwhahahahah).
In all honesty, I just think our political system is broken, we get incumbents, we get politicians, that are so stale in their thinking that they can't think of away out of the problem.
Conspiracy theories is part of the political landscape now...it's been around for ages. FDR got accused of knowing in advance that Pearl Harbor was going to get bombed. JFK's assassination. Bill Clinton, hell he was fun. Bush and 9/11. Now Obama is about to get grilled.
I honestly don't think it's productive at all. It shows a mass hysteria and I can only take a guess that's its because people somehow feel disenfranchised from our system of government that they need to feel like there's something more sinister there.

You are currently busy defending Obama in the first three threads I read. :lmao2:
Your passionate defense of Obama is an obvious display of loyalty, SirMoby.
