Remember back when BO was crowing about his "aggressive diplomacy approach" to defending this nation against terrorism ?
Now what's he gonna do ?
Ahmadinejad slam dunked BO just like the Allaytolla Komenhi did to the peanunt farmer.
WHAT IS GOING TO TAKE FOR YOU PEOPLE TO SEE THE LIGHT WHEN IT COMES TO TERRORISM ? ...ANOTHER ATTACK ?
This proves that you can't negotiate with terrorists , and once again this country is weakened by liberals and their backwards ideolgy

US President Barack Obama's offer to talk to Iran (http://search.breitbart.com/q?s=iran&sid=breitbart.com) shows that America's policy of "domination" has failed, the government spokesman said on Saturday.
"This request means Western ideology has become passive, that capitalist thought and the system of domination have failed," Gholam Hossein Elham was quoted as saying by the Mehr news agency.
"Negotiation is secondary, the main issue is that there is no way but for (the United States) to change," he added.
After nearly three decades of severed ties, Obama said shortly after taking office this month that he is willing to extend a diplomatic hand to Tehran if the Islamic republic is ready to "unclench its fist".
In response, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (http://search.breitbart.com/q?s=Mahmoud+Ahmadinejad&sid=breitbart.com) launched a fresh tirade against the United States, demanding an apology for its "crimes" against Iran and saying he expected "deep and fundamental" change from Obama.
Iranian politicians frequently refer to the US administration as the "global arrogance", "domineering power" and "Great Satan".
Tensions with the United States have soared over Iran's nuclear drive and Ahmadinejad's vitriolic verbal attacks against Washington's close regional ally Israel.
Former US president George W. Bush (http://search.breitbart.com/q?s=George+W.+Bush&sid=breitbart.com) refused to hold talks with the Islamic republic -- which he dubbed part of an "axis of evil" -- unless it suspended uranium enrichment, (http://search.breitbart.com/q?s=uranium+enrichment&sid=breitbart.com) and never took a military option to thwart Tehran's atomic drive off the table.
The new administration of Obama has also refused to rule out any options -- including military strikes -- to stop Tehran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
Iran denies any plans to build the bomb and insists its nuclear programme is solely aimed at peaceful ends.

Um, they want the US to apologize for 60 years of crimes against Iran. I don't think Bush has been President for 60 years.
They also say we have to stop supporting Israel and pull our troops out from around the world.

Its worth a shot to try to talk to these monsters. Amedenijad has said he will not stop the nuke program. The problem is that without UN inspections to confirm the destruction of advance weapons, all talks are useless. Even worse financially speaking, Iran will want several hundred $$Billion$$ with no guarantee of future UN inspections if they even alow one! We can't afford payouts thanks to ignorant dems/reps.
The apologies, well that's a 2 way street, are they going to apologize for talking hostages, sending out terrorists to Iraq, etc...? The apologies are meaningless unless Iran calms down. They want apologies for decades of protecting th world from barbarians, the request is insane. Voting Amedenijad out of office is promising, but if the Mullahs disapprove of the new guy that the US faovrs he'll be assasinated in no time. Finding loyal guards in Iran is like finding a honest politician in the USA. Money will buy whatever the Mullahs want.

They're apparently making it a precondition.

They are talking tough, I think Obama will do a good job of letting them know to not mistake kindness for weakness. The tough talk will calm down once they see a new course in the way America handles its foreign politics.

Now is the time for Obama to grow a set. He made a good faith effort to talk with these assholes and they threw it back in his face. Okay, so be it.
Now it is time to go hard line on Iran and he has the perfect excuse to do just that.
It is time for Obama to green light Israel and assist in an attack on their nuclear facilities.
He tried to be "nice guy" (which I don't agree with) and it didn't work so the hell with them, they made the choice, not Obama. Now he MUST do what is in the best interests of the United States.
I guarantee you that if he hits Irans's nuclear facilities, after their snub, that any time in the future he makes an overture to any other country for talks he will get talks on his terms, not theirs.
It is the perfect opportunity to show the world that he can be a reasonable man but if you won't meet him half way then he can and will use other options available to him that you may not like.
Of course, that requires a strong and well equiped military who are willing to follow their Commander-in-Chief.

IMO, it couldnt hurt to have the biggest bomb and most high tech defense
system....for ourselves that is. Then BO and Achmed could talk all they want
while the "big stick" waits in the wings. Plan B.

It's unfortunate that we live in a world where countries compete for having the biggest bomb. Unless God comes and swoops all the believers first, it seems mankind is going to be it's undoing. :(

The proplem is, they have their goals they want to acheive. And kindness doesn't factor into their ideology of Islam. We represent all the evil of the materialistic world and the enemy of Allah, to them.
If the Mullahs and loyal followers truly believe in their ideology, then they would not consider talks anything beyond weakness, presenting an opportunity to buy time.
Clinton did everything he could to normalize relations with Iran during the 90s. In return Iran started their secret nuclear program, with AQ Kahn's help.
Frank, there will be another attack. There's no way to avoid it.
George W. Bush gave into the terrorist demands and now we're close to being bankrupt.
The terrorists will leave us alone as long as we stay on this path.
If we start to rebuild and the economy/debt improves that's when another attack will come. Maybe we'll prevent it and maybe we won't.
When you do as the terrorists ask they stop attacking.

SirMoby ,do you seriously think that Al-Qeada are honorable men and will not attack us if we give in to thier so-called "demands".
President George W Bush protected this country for 8 years by establishing the Patriot Act and going after and killing or capturing the terrorists responsible for 9/11 , he didn't negotiate and didn't give in to any demands .
I think its just starting to sink in with Obama, that he can't deviate in any way from President Bush's plan. Jihadists only want the end to western civilization , that's their only true demand and I hope that Obama can do just as good a job as President Bush did to prevent that from happening.

Don't be stupid, Bush gave into no terrorist demands. Actually right now is a good time for another attack, why wait till the economy is better. Hit us now and watch the markets fall and prices rise.
Terrorists will never leave us alone. We wear the wrong clothing, we don't pray to Mecca, we eat pork, women walk beside us, etc...... They will never accept us, even if we walk out of the ME, apologize and give aid to thier countries, it will never be enough. Change the phrase war on terror gave comfort to the far-left dems while the terrorists laughed and said, we'll get money out of Obama and our governments will give it to us or we will take it from them.

President George W Bush gave in to the terrorist demands . What exactly were those demands again SirMoby?
Is this what your are referring to
We also advise you to pack your luggage and get out of our lands. We desire for your goodness, guidance, and righteousness, so do not force us to send you back as cargo in coffins.
That doesn't sound like a demand to me SirMoby , by the way ,why did Al-Qeada attack Bali , Madrid and London after 9/11 ?
They didn't have any troops stationed in Saudi Arabia .

No matter what the US does, Iran will always look on us as the enemy infidels and the great satan.
Their Koran tells them they must either kill us or convert us to Islam. There is no middle ground. It's us or them.
