Lawsuit: Couple Claims Fertility Clinic Used Wrong Sperm

NEW YORK — A Park Avenue fertility clinic caused a family devastation when a sperm snafu caused a black baby to be born to a Hispanic woman and her white husband, the couple charges in a lawsuit.

A judge has ruled that the couple can proceed with a lawsuit against the New York Medical Services for Reproductive Medicine after the wife gave birth to a daughter whose skin they thought was too dark to be their child.

Thomas and Nancy Andrews, of Commack, N.Y., sued the clinic of medical malpractice and other offenses, claiming it used another man's sperm to inseminate Nancy Andrews' eggs.

Three DNA tests — a home kit and two professional laboratory tests — confirmed that Thomas Andrews was not the baby's biological father, state Supreme Court Judge Sheila Abdus-Salaam quoted the couple as saying.

"Jessica doesn't look like them," said the couple's attorney Howard J. Stern, of Long Island, told The New York Post. "Three DNA test were taken, and each one excluded the father."

AJ...thanks...I lost that sperm....and now I know where it is...you know it's a sin to spill your seed on the ground...Well...I've been worried.

My ususal rituals when spanking the monkey preclude the foor scene entirely... those old dudes must have been a messy bunch...but be that as it may...you can imagine my consternation when ten months ago a whole issue when missing.

But my concerns are layed to rest Aj...as your diligence in keeping watch on everyone's genetalia and sex habits has finally produced a positive effect...at least for me, as my mind is put at ease...thank you...bless you for your undercover work in keeping up the people's understanding of their moral duties.

Ps...I was wondering, as you keep tabs on everyone's sperm deposits, when checking on homosexuals (and I know a lot of your time and efforts are expended upon that group of our population) how far up the men's ass do you have to go to get a proper sperm count? ...and while I'm on the subject. do you use a tool or do you just dive in using the fingers god gave you.

I have 3 children from IVF. Do you feel sorry for them ??

I have been thru the IVF process 4 times, have done enormous amounts of reading and research and have never heard of a mistake like that being made before

this is how people think on both sides

but since there has been a mistake made now the whole IVF process must be bad

Congratulations Tommy...raisng four kids today is no mean feat, and a testimony to great sense of family.

I must point out here that it's very possible there was no mistake made at the center, but possibly a dark skinned mailman in the works.

I know this sounds masoginistic, but there was a genetic study done not too long ago amongst adult siblings of about four to a family, and they found upon average at least one out of the four had genes unlike those of their siblings. Mistakes do happen, but not all of them include refrigeration as part of their process.

I have often watched TV and wondered about Bush and IVF
I read somewhere that he and Laura had a little trouble having children

and I cant help but notice that they have twins and I know IVF produces a very high rate of twins

(My wife and I have 1 year old twins from IVF)

in fact in the doctors office they but up pictures in the waiting room of all the babies. walls and walls filled with pics (thousands maybe 10 thousand) and I was shocked at the sheer number of twins and triplets

Rough handling of the egg might cause it to split. They do poke it with a needle...a violence not experienced by the egg naturally.
