Its being said by many that W's decision to invade Iraq is the worst military decision in U S history & that he will be identified with this as Hoover was the great depression. The good news is this: after Hoover, the Dems occupied the presidency for 28 of the next 36 years. So let's hope we're on the verge of the same thing happening again.

YES...I've heard a lot on this list about dems being as corrupt as repugs...this may be true (except in the case of pedastry...all the child sexual abusers are repug...and I wish someone would call me on that...I can provide much documentary including butch's male prostitute's overnigh stays in the WH)

But there is a big difference...one that is not of opinion, but of historic fact.

The people live better and more freely under dem rule.

Just check out who provides the money for repugs...corporatocracy and christians against all life that tends to smile.

Whereas the dems get their money from the people and unions...

What sort of paybacks are required of each?

We have machineguns on our streets from the NRA...we have the congress fighting over whether the world came into existence last Tuesday because of the christ-mongers, all because the repugs have to court mo-money from these assholes.

The dems, on the other hand, get into infrastructure (called pork by the repugs who have stolen the money that should have payed for upkeep and development), and good laws that favor internal ecconomics and fiscal responsibility...note: PAYGO as in the first new legislature passed.


So there is a difference worth voting for...those who disagree are the reasin this country is so fucked up...and we all will soon (in the coming year and lasting for the next ten years...assuming responsible dems are at the helm)be paying for these types and their represenatives.

Lunch...it would be nice to believe that, but these repug supremists types are killers...not from fear or belief in any credo....but only for money and the promise of more $$$.

I could forgive repugs if they had any character...any heart-felt beliefs, but they are through and through appetite...born paracites...they consume and destroy.

When the dems build up some fat and easy living, the repugs get in and leach it all out...then fall back into the woodwork until the next cycle of feeding...hitting like locusts.

World banking runs the program...directs the acts...determines which party gets in. The dems will be in for some years to come, as there is nothing left to steal...as a country and a people, we are bankrupt...all the money got sucked to the top players.

With this coming ecconomic meltdown in the US and an also the world, the greater plans will be carried out to drastically cut down the populations of the world, and run herd on what debtors are left to pick up the trash and drive the limosines.

Sounds crazy, but only to the degree you wish to remain asleep.

You're right Lunch...we are like minds. To go a bit broader, and by which shake off some of the conspiracy-freak stigma, I would like to ask the lurkers to think about this question:

Given that the types who run giant corporations are aggressive types who have reached thier pinnacle, and having reached this end-point "all dressed up with nowhere to go"...no new worlds to conquer...do you think they sigh in pleasure and relax as one does when successfully passing a difficult turd?

My contention is that they CANNOT shut down their appetite to conquer...having chosen business and already risen to the top, they must then devise greater goals for themselves.

One might wonder what choices of available goals are there??

If one has topped out in their lifelong struggle to reach the top and have done so, what do you do with your money and power...enroll at the local college to learn Manderin Chinese...how to make baskets with all the other little people rubbing up against you, and actually talking to you...like you were some kind of equal????

I think not...after all, when your really think about it, you don't actually own the world yet, and more to the point, you still get into trouble when running down slow pedestrians who dawdle along in front of you when you are in a hurrry...too many of those...something should be done...too many fords and toyotas too.

If you really really think about it. my life isn't over...there's plenty of new mountains to conquer...we could gather up like minded stinkin rich people who the one's who actually, count and pool our efforts to manipulate the world's direction...we could call it the CFR...that's good ...council on foreign relations...sounds almost ligitimate for a group designing a general kill-off of world population...a prerequisite before getting down to the real work of making a just world where everyone left alive knows their place....and especially understands who is on top!

Lurkers...give me different scenerio...and I'll give you the documented picture of the world you actually live in...if you have the guts to want to know this world.

A national grassroots internet led boycott, (too early at this point, but within a year or two, they'll be enough personal pain to get people's attention)will focus people closer to home...neighborhood politics of resources...rubbled lots to neighborhood gardens, bartering, exchanges like flea markets and collectives to provide that which must come from outside. Mom and pop corner business will spring up like weeds without walmart competition.

All this will cripple the big buck corruptors...it will happen because it must.

Jobless people still eat...and still have 24 hours in their day...it will happen:)

Lunch...I read a statistic once, it went: A law contrary to corporate bottom line has a life expectancy of 8 weeks. I know how naieve this all sounds...but when this economy melts down...as the credit crunch, the housing bubble, the Japanese carry trade all sour...not to mention our "legal" tender turns to shit in our hands...as noted by some countries refusing payment in USdollars, and the sharp decline in foreign capital inflow in treasury notes (which has been financing our 2.6 billion dollar a day debt financing of interest) and some refusing to buy without an inflation rider to insure protection of their capital, this bankrupt country must go into recievership...and a large population hit the streets...

It is then, that personal gardens for food will not seem so unreal a response.
and likewise...it will not seem stupid to join in force to insure the planter/tender of the garden needs a formidable group to insure he gets any of the food he grew...as competition will be fierce...day by day.

Ex...I'm not clear about what you've said...what it seems like is that the gov mercenaries kill citizens indescriminately...then all the citixzens will curl up like a kicked dog???

If that is it, then I think you're about 30% right...30% who will find other means to resist...like underground supply, intelligence and weapons manufacture, and the rest will become rabid guerillas.

I also think many members of the armed forces will steal weapons and run off to join the (us) rebels.

But getting back to the self sufficient units...these are not armed camps (though not without arms), nor are they breaking any laws or possessed of wealth.

Of course the gov. will trump up charges...attempt to take away children, find anything to fuck with such groups, as they threaten mega business.

Have you ever wondered why hard addictive drugs recieve lesser jail terms than LSD? LSD jail time is always ferocious life 25 to 50 years.

The main probem with LSD, is that the repugs can't make any money off their smuggling trade or their war against drugs...but mostly, it's the drop LSD and drop out aspect of the drug...LSD users don't understand ambition anymore...don't fight for a piece of the pie, don't like three piece suits anymore...sometimes after a single hit. Kill the economy thry've set up.

Well so would a pandemic of communes...so the gov would get rabid about law abiding people just trying to live a peaceful life...for the same reason they hate LSD.

But having nothing to steal...no votes to get, no laws needing enforcement, is a good game plan to begin with.

The thing about this economy we are living in now...from cradle to grave the only interesting thing is chasing women and going to war...unless you are a thief...and then you have the cops and robbers game to amuse you.

But self suffiency is an absorbing problem...it is really difficult accross the spectrum of technology and agronomy to provide for yourself...especially in a group.here's where LSD would come in handy...but it's illegal, so best to fallback on plan B...ie...mushrooms...to make a homogeonous group that gets along with each other. I call it mushroom government,,,unlike butch'es mushroom politics...where they keep you in the dark and feed you bullshit.

Anyway...it would be a challenging life where your problems are immediate...not writing some report by monday so you will get paid on friday so you can pay your credit card but need to lie to your bartender about your tab...plant the corn....weed it...water it...eat it...can it for later...it all makes sense to human beings...a real relief.

Living without money creates a whole new landscape...so many things need to be figured out and so much you discover you can make for yourself...and so much of what you thought you needed...you don't anymore...while many other things you may not even known about take their place as valuable.

All in all...it's an improved life...all the horsetrading and actual work that makes you sweat...and interesting life once again.
