Priests to Purify Site After Bush Visit

Mayan priests will purify a sacred archaeological site to eliminate "bad spirits" after President Bush visits next week, an official with close ties to the group said Thursday.


"That a person like (Bush), with the persecution of our migrant brothers in the United States, with the wars he has provoked, is going to walk in our sacred lands, is an offense for the Mayan people and their culture," Juan Tiney, the director of a Mayan nongovernmental organization with close ties to Mayan religious and political leaders, said Thursday.

As an american sworn to defend our Constitution, I am doing what is within my means to do just that...I see no reason to quit as the Constitution is not restored to us as yet.

If you see your response to this administration is to go along to get along...to keep quiet, vote republican and send money to pat robinson...that's your right...but I can't go that route and not cut my own throat while shaving...different strokes for different blokes.

The problem with politicians in general far outweigh Bush's flaws as an individual politician. Would like to hear you take some of your spew and give it to everyone who deserves it, not just George Bush.

Kres...as far as polititians go...butch/cheney enable their crimes...be that as it may...butch/cheney institute their own more hienous crimes...not just crimes to make money as do polititians...but crimes that kill for power.
