I hear Libby didn't step on his grandkid's head...nor was he guilty of pissing in the holy water...must be an innocent kind of guy just caught up in some unfortunate misunderstanding.

From what I've read, the CIA says it's much much harder to get people to go undercover now, because the Libby trial, and the failed investigation of the leak, has proven that their are no repercussions to outing agents for political purposes.

So, just when we need humint (human source intelligence) more than ever before, because Bush and Cheney got away with outing a major CIA deep cover operative with no punishment, our abilities to get humint have been crippled.

If they'll betray an important US agent like Valerie Plame, it's certain that they would betray the little agents who are the most valuable sources of intelligence.
