This is becoming a daily occurance here..... these SPAMMERS.....

I appreciate the idea but I'm not sure that it will help.

The spams are very easy to spot and Bill, Linkster and I remove them whenever we come to the board. I check into the board from time to time just to delete spam even when I don't have time to read any posts.

If there is some sneaky spam then a PM might help as that sends off an email to me but any thread started for the sole purpose of spam is spotted as soon as we get here any way. I almost always see the spam before you thread announcing it.

It was mostly bots - tho I've just made a few modifications to the script to block a good percentage of the bots.

It already seems quieter.

Humans are still getting thru.

I'm hoping to have the time to do more to stop the spammers in the next few weeks.
