The cost of one war in Iraq $569,000,000,000
The cost of one economic meltdown $2,800,000,000,000
Seeing these three being led out in chains? Priceless!

Kanadesga. All laws written have a clause to prevent impeachment whether it be congressional or Supreme Court ruling. Keep on dreaming. As for Karl Rove, members of W's cabinet, pentagon officials and lobbiests, the sky is the limit on prosecutions.

Not on the world stage. He is culpable and deserves imprisonment just like thedick!

Yes they do, research it. Why do you think Pelosi backed off impeachment talks? Every proposal was ignored due to the fact that the only way they could impeach Bush would be to violate the Constitution. Now they could repeal that law, but could they make it retroactive? They've never been successful back dating laws to get crooks. Laws have get out of jail free clauses, otherwise, Bush would have been impeached by now don't you think? Plenty of evidence to prove the Iraq lies. Even I wish it could be done, but the rule of law prevents it.

There is no crime against protecting this country from a clear and present danger , which Saddam Hussein clearly was .
President George W Bush made the right call , he defended this country and if there was proof it would've been brought forward by now .
Between Iran , China , Iraq and Russia , trying to prosecute President George W Bush for successfully defending this country against terrorism for the last 8 years , is going to be the least of the flying monkey's problems.

There are crimes in using RNC emails for WH business. there are laws against obstruction of justice. there are laws against outing a covert agent. there are laws galore that these fucks have broken. Politicizing the DoJ for one. I haven't the time to list them all.

Nethercutt Amendment is the second of 3 laws that prevents war crimes for prosecution of Bush/Cheney. The Rome Statute is the third. I'll have to digg for the first. Loophole mania prevents prosecution unless they overturn the laws. Bush was behind fight against Nethercutt, the ICC and the Rome Statute arguments.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_and_the_International_Criminal_Court
http://www.heritage.org/Research/InternationalOrganizations/bg1830.cfmThe United States and many advocates for the International Criminal Court (ICC) have long been at odds over the court’s statute, accountability, and jurisdiction. Although these differences have not been resolved, two recent actions have refocused international and domestic attention on America’s policy toward the ICC. The first was enactment of the Nethercutt amendment, which extended prohi*bitions on assistance to ICC parties beyond those already in place under the American Servicemem*bers’ Protection Act (ASPA). The second is the debate over whether or not the U.N. Security Coun*cil should refer the genocide in Sudan to the ICC for investigation.
As with earlier disagreements over U.S. policy toward the ICC, advocates of the court seek to por*tray the U.S. position as shortsighted and at odds with human rights. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Both the Clinton Administration and the Bush Administration concluded that the ICC is a seriously flawed institution that the U.S. should not join. Regrettably, the Rome Statute establishing the ICC broke with long-standing international legal prece*dent by asserting ICC jurisdiction over nationals and military personnel from states that are not party to the treaty. This forced the U.S. to take unusual steps to protect its people from the ICC.

I wonder just how much havoc that turd in the oval office will inflict upon us until Obama steps in?
GWB is a rat. Perhaps with low poll numbers an angry vindictive rat.
Just because he has no justification for his feelings doesn't mean in his self-indulgence he doesn't believe/feel them.
remember this is the psycho who has decided 'God' put him in the Whitehouse.
I guess since he knows the American people never willingly did, he has to rationalize it some way.

the nethercutt amendment tries to blackmail foreign nations into granting immunity to servicemen and contractors from international law, for torture and stuff. It does not protect bush, cheney, rumsfeld, wolfowitz, cambone, and the rest of the criminals.

Nethercutt is part of the arguement I read that Reps have used to calm the impeachment chatter. If we had joined the ICC for instance, we'd have to prosecute Bush/Cheney or a foreign power could do it and we'd have to allow the trials by other nations. There is more to this as I said, the first of three arguements all work together along with loopholes. I read about in 2006, I'll post the actual law when I find it. They would have started impeachment talks 2 years ago if it were possible, as is, all we see are politicians writing new Bills that go nowhere.

you realize that it was bush and cheney refusing to join the ICC? the reason they haven't impeached is because too many members of Congress are complicit with bushco in these crimes.

Of course that's part of it, along with Dems who voted for the war too. If we had joined the ICC, someone would have to prosecute Bush and Cheney. My opinion is that they already had plans in the works to fabricate some of the intelligence and spin whatever was debateable in thier favor. No way they'd join the ICC and pull that crap. W isn't smart enough to play the game that well and fabricate intel, but Rove, Rumsfeld and Douglas Feith and many of the bureaucrats at the pentagon are.

from what I understand, we have resisited joining the ICC because of Kissinger. There's that little bombing of Cambodia and Laos incident back in the 70s.
