Swami looks into crystal ball and here's what he sees: Libby is convicted. With all the unflattering revelations of his petty scheming behind the scenes to set Scooter up, and his diminishing clout in WH, VP Cheney resigns saying that he has become an unnecessary distraction from the goals of the admin and wants to spend more time with family. As replacement Pres picks McCain to reward him for supporting surge strategy in Iraq. Bush's job approval ratings soar... to 35% VP McCain becomes prohibitive favorite for Repub nomination. Pelosi quietly reconsiders impeachment option, but remains undecided. It looks more appealing with Cheney gone, but would likely pit Dem nominee against incumbent VP in gen election. At this point, crystal ball grows cloudy.

Butch has no confidence in his kevlar undershorts...cheney's possible rise to the presidency has always prooved butch's most effective protection from his admirers...those who know him best...if cheney goes...then you are right... mccain is the most swarmy lying son of a bitch left to do that job.

Only that shitheel lieberman could do this country as much harm in the oval office.

But the president, showing his unusal brand of wisdom, would pick mccain regardless of the choice, because he knows that for anyone to shoot him in the ass...they would hit lieberman lunching there first...better than kevlar.

Swami is reluctant to say he told you so in posting of 2/16, title: Repurcussions of Libby Trial... but the first domino has fallen. Also, one more reason for Cheney resignation, despondence over renewed health concerns. Stay tuned

Hi Cransation, welcome to the board

at first yesterday I was thinking finally people are gonna start to see the light about this administration but then after thinking on it a while

all the other scandals have done little or nothing to sway the loyalty of the bushies so why should this make any difference

the American people in general are sheep

Tommy - that is a fact :banghead:
Look at the voting records for the last few elections - and then compare it to the voting records for American Idol :lmao2:

LOL, that's the truth. In some ways I don't think people have a right to complain when they don't participate in the system.
