Well sort of.....he actually said the Barack Hussein Obama "will be tested" by an international crisis within 6 months , and I have noticed that you leftists have avoided this like plague.

Looks like I'm not the only one working on a bomb shelter.

Joe Biden, the Democratic vice-presidential nominee, has told Americans to expect a “major international crisis” that will present an early test of a Barack Hussein Obama administration.

His comments were seized upon by the Republican campaign yesterday to raise fresh doubts about the prepared-ness of Mr Barack Hussein Obama to be commander-in-chief.

Speaking at a fundraiser in Seattle on Sunday night, Mr Biden said: “Mark my words, it will not be six months before the world tests Barack Hussein Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here . . . we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

He cited Russia and the Middle East as possible places that may cause problems, as well as the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan – “crawling with al-Qaeda” – as being of particular concern.

Mr Barack Hussein Obama would need help and support, Mr Biden suggested, “because it’s not gonna be apparent, initially, that we’re right.” He then spotted the media in the room, “I probably shouldn’t have said all this because it dawned on me that the press is here.”

Biden is trying to warn us. He likes McCain better anyway. He said so.

Obama won't try to defend it - until it's too late.

He'll try to sell it to whoever wants to buy a piece - peace through unity.

I wonder if Obama's neocon buddies will stage an event that leads to a crisis? To bad Sirmoby and the other wacko mods pretend there are no sinister connections to the neocons, they just don't get it. Hell they'd vote for someone fresh out of the Penetentary if MSNBC said the man was worthy.

If Americans die as a result of Obama's actions or inactions due to a crisis to test this inexperienced cocaine addict, it will lead the country down the path toward his impeachment!!!

Since the national news media has decided that it is in our National interest to edit the facts and thus select our next President for us. I thought I would send this "missed" information out to you in the hopes that you may find it interesting and send it along as well...

According to the Washington Post, she first met with McCain in February, but nobody ever found out. This is a woman used to keeping secrets. She can be entrusted with our national security, because she already is.

Now you DO know!

You might do some fact checking before you plagarize another sites postings:

http://www.mcclatchydc.com/251/story/51665.html will explain pretty clearly what her real role is in Alaska - in an interview with the commander of the Natl Guard in Alaska
Also your little "fact" about the "permanent active duty" is completely false - they are called up on Title 10 orders the same as the 240,000 Natl Guard that have served or are currently in Iraq.
With Obama and Biden on the foreign relations committee they would actually have higher sec clearances than she does and would be privvy to alot more "secrets" than her - and as documented in that article above - she is totally out of the loop on natl sec issues anyway

As long as he isn't raping & looting the nation like the Republicans have been doing that alone, by itself, will be an improvement.

If he can do more than that it is all to the good.

Palin has much more experience than Obama. Check out the info below. Sarah Palin's National Security Credentials

John McCain's selection of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as vice-presidential running mate is proving more shrewd by the hour. As Blackfive points out, Governor Palin, as Alaska's chief executive, has shared strategic command of the 49th Missile Defense Battalion of the Alaska National Guard:

One area of Sarah Palin's background that may help her is Alaska's unique role in our national security and homeland defense. Several folks have have mentioned this but Tom W. was specific and his info jibes with the record.

Alaska is the first line of defense in our missile interceptor defense system. The 49th Missile Defense Battalion of the Alaska National Guard is the unit that protects the entire nation from ballistic missile attacks. It’s on permanent active duty, unlike other Guard units.

As governor of Alaska, Palin is briefed on highly classified military issues, homeland security, and counterterrorism. Her exposure to classified material may rival even Biden's.

She's also the commander in chief of the Alaska State Defense Force (ASDF), a federally recognized militia incorporated into Homeland Security's counterterrorism plans.

Palin is privy to military and intelligence secrets that are vital to the entire country's defense. Given Alaska's proximity to Russia, she may have security clearances we don't even know about.

According to the Washington Post, she first met with McCain in February, but nobody ever found out. This is a woman used to keeping secrets.

She can be entrusted with our national security, because she already is.
This really is too much!

Barack Obama would kill to have had that much access to classified defense information as a member of the U.S. Senate!

Meanwhile, the radical left contingents are mucking themselves up with more sexist allegations and totally unhinged anti-Palin smears.

Of course, both rigorous polling data and home town reactions indicate that the Obama campaign's treading water on the eve of the Republican National convention. Note though, with Hurricane Gustav bearing down on the Gulf Coast, the Republicans plan to scale back first-day convention activities. Plus, the Bush adminstration and Senator McCain will focus their attention on protecting people in the storm's path. A successful response to the storm raises the possibility of a boost in public relations, which will help innoculate the GOP from Democratic attacks on Republican incompetence following Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

The whole episode, handled well, will allow the McCain camp the opportunity to burnish its image of putting people first.

Palin delagated authority to someone who answers directly to her, so she was in the loop. Good leaders know when to pass the buck to someone who knows more. HT didn't lie, you refuse to accept the truth. The govenor of Florida has similar responsibilities with Cuba, but he never acts since the orders must be empowered. The point is govenors have the power to act in peace or war times, but they seldom get involved directly.

Again - you didnt read the article - it cites an interview with the head of the National Guard in Alaska that refutes every one of those claims

In state matters - the governor - for floods etc - but for their job - they answer to the president and the US Army chain of command as they are active duty under Title 10 - again - if you had read the article - you might have gleened this info for yourself instead of making yourself a fool again

You are a goddamn fool, you fucking moron, I read the article and stated facts. You are a Goddamn anarchist loser. Try reading the war powers act and the relationship that govenors have with Title 10. Govenors have limited power but they can order the National Guard into duty as needed or delagate the authority. Only a simpleton loser wouldn't agree.
