OK, so there's all this talk about how new policies will gut the economy and destroy America.

What has improved since January 2001 until today for the average American?

Am I missing something or aren't we already on the path of destruction and now we need a new course?

Isn't this a totally pointless thread?

You're entire premise is that McCain is just an extension of Bush, regardless of any new conditions or changing circumstances.

If you're just doing this to bash Bush, then just bash Bush. But I don't agree with the idea that McCain will be exactly like Bush.

Smurfy,

You can't handle the truth. This is potently evident after reading your hilarious rantings over the last six months.

Don't like Moby's avatar, I suggest slightly turning your head so your blinders will block it from view.:lmao2:

I can see that you've learned last weeks talking points very well.

Care to discuss the differences in McCain's economic plan vs. Bush's? Oh, that's right. There aren't any differences as it's the same plan. Cut taxes at a higher rate for investors then we do for workers. Borrow massive amounts of money from our advisories making them stronger and us weaker. Try to separate the nation.

Other then a health plan, what's different between the Bush administration policies and advisers and McCain's?

I think it's very important to take a long hard look at what has gotten us into our current situation. That will tell you if your beliefs are correct. Remember, the same people that told you Bush's policies were sound are the same people telling you that McCain's policies are sound. They were wrong. Very wrong. You were wrong.

Isn't it time to learn from it.

Well, we have been kept safe for the past 7 years. Is that petty to you? Our economy went to hell after pelosi and dems took congress, that's no good. But the economy was ok until then.
How u been?

Thank goodness someone else actually remembered the democrats have been in control of congress for the last two years of Bush's term. Remember when the Democrats were saying two years ago, you just let us a get a hold of congress and we'll stop Bush dead in his tracks and make things right (all the while the financial crisis was growing). So now I'm supposed to believe the democrats are going to fix everything. They are guilty of the same things of which they accuse others. This has been the most do nothing congress I have seen since I was a teenager. Thx Sharon for reminding there are others out there still paying attention.

Who made such a statement as that? I voted and studying the candidates but don't remember anyone ever making such a claim as that.

I do remember Pelosi (who I don't support) committing to her first 100 hours which she accomplished in 86 hours but then things got tied up in The Senate. You know you need a majority of 60 to get things done there don't you?

I at least hope that people voting understand that much.

Remember that over 3,000 citizens died and we suffered the worst terroist attack in our history under George W. Bush. Is that what you call safe?

The economic crisis started well before Pelosi was in charge of the house. No one has an advantage in The Senate right now. If you believe that things went to hell because of the dems then please show some bills top support such a statement.

Besides, the economy was still not growing at the same rate that it was when when Clinton was in office. It cost us $Trillions of dollars for a lot less growth. That's not better then before. Not even close.

I remember that. I knew then how messed up they would make things for Americans and viola! They have proven they can screw us! Glad ur here. Got ur back. Sir, forgets that Clinton dropped the al qaeda bomb in Bush's lap. Liberals will never admit to having been neglectful. They take the easy way out and blaming Bush is easy for them.

Clinton wrapped that mess up and delivered it to Bush. What a guy. He was too busy in the oral office to have to deal with the likes of obama bin laden wasn't he. You know it. It's easy for you libs to transfer blame to the good guys isn't it? Shame.

Your right Clinton called off the dogs even when he they were involved with the USS Cole bombing.

He called off the dogs countless times. He was busy with more important things, couldn't be bothered.
