After a week on dialup, I am SO FREAKIN HAPPY to be hispeed again

What a miserable week. There was a statewide outage with my dsl network last tuesday, and weds I struggled all day to get back on - only to discover the outage had killed my router.

The tech told me "I'll ship you a new one next day delivery" on thursday.

Well, UPS tells me it was shipped regular delivery - then they lost it on the truck for a day.

Finally got in just at the last possible minute tonight - thank the mercilful universe I've got speed back.

I have been suffering - once you get used to the higher speeds, dialup is torture.

6 days on dialup. damn.

Why i don't look at a lot of video posts without at least getting a pre-clue of what they are about. It is long & painful to wait for them. ouch! :D

I had to use dialup about 6 months ago...my cable was out for 6 hours and I needed to get something done. What living hell that was and I can't believe that's how I use to get online.

I was on dial up for years before I finally got cable. Man, what a difference. I don't ever want to go back. :banana:
