I have been wondering about why Whites are racists, and no other race is.

violence against you... so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?
You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day.
You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day. You have Yom Hashoah.
You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi. You have the NAACP. You have BET...
If we had WET (White Entertainment Television) we'd be racists.
If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists.
If we had White History Month, we'd be racists.

If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance' OUR lives we'd be racists.

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce.

A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant, but any color can be in the Miss America pageant.

There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US .

Well, being of one color or the other shouldn't have anything to do with pride. Pride should come with the accomplishments one has made in his/her life. A color is a color. An accomplishment is something created, done and to be aspired to. Now that's pride worthy.

Harry....you are in the age range of my kids. I know what you are saying the difference between your generation and my generation when it comes to race. My kids don't see color. They have friends of all shapes, sizes, skin colors, rich and poor.

I come from hogs generation. We grew up in a time when black people could not even sit with white skinned people in some areas of the South. In hog's alcohol ridden mind nothing has changed. He sees the world in color where many people of your generation do not. Hog is one of those guys that will cross the street if a black man is walking toward him and not even realize he is doing it. The biggest problem with Hog is that he is completely oblivious to the fact that he is racist and I don't think he has enough tolerance of other people to ever change.
