Watch the See No Evil losers Barney Frank and Maxine Watters act like fucking stupid degenerate stooges in 2004. Reps were grilling thier stupid asses and all they could do is doubletalk and BS like they understood the mortgage markets. These are the kinds of people who get elected and re-elected based on what??? This video crys out the need for TERM LIMITS for CONGRESS!!! They could have changed the corse of history in 2004.

And yet with control of the White House, the Senate, the House and the ear of the American people instead of doing something about it they changed the way the OCC protected assets.

Think back to 2002 where no one wanted sub-prime mortgages because they weren't profitable. Then think about all those commercials hitting TV because suddenly sub-prime mortgages could be sold for huge profits as mortgage backed securities between 2003 and 2007.

What changed? Was it Mr. Frank's doing or did something else happen during that time?

Time to grow up and accept the fact that you voted for the people that profited from the S&L crisis but just didn't think they'd do it again.

More blind accusations, or are you saying you also voted for people who profited from the S&L crisis? I beginning to wonder about your memory.

The point of the video was not to blame Dems but to show the frame of mind these morons had in 2004 and as far back as 1998. Different time, different speech but the same protectionist attitude towards Fanny and Freddie.

Senators Dodd and Frank have been pretending they were not to blame, yet both men Chair the committees that all banking Bills flow thru. So they are to blame directly and now they lie thier asses off.

Bush never vetoed a single Bill pertaining to mortgages, of course he never understood them in the first place. Hopefully we will lose many senators and congressmen over the next 3 election cycles.
