View Full Version : Is Palin Just Snowing Us Over?
Is it possible that Sarah Palin isn't as uninformed as she pretends to be or is she just trying to set the expectations so low that if she makes even a few coherent statements that we'll think it's an improvement during the debate?
We already know that Biden will be attacked for attacking Palin no matter what he does just like the MSM has been attacked for imaginary attacks on her family.
She's probably trying to pull one over on us in one way or another. Is she really smart and acts stupid or something else?

Imaginary attacks on her family?
Good God, man. Put down the crack pipe.

She is just out of her depth.
But many people are shallow & stupid & will vote the hopes they project on her, rather than the facts of who she is.
If she weren't such a jerk, i would almost feel badly for her,
but after all the wreckage of the neocon jerks i have no sympathy left for them.

I'm not sure expectations for her debate performance could possibly be lower.
This way, as long as she doesn't show up drunk, Reps will call it a victory.

The base of the GOP is certified jerks.
Its leadership is criminal cynics.
Jerks are easier to puppet. They even prefer it to being the inert corpses they would otherwise be.
She is a jerk. They identify with her.
That she is young & attractive is frosting on the cake of stupidity.

The only people she's snowed are the ones foolish enough to vote for her.
She is out of her league without any question. No one would feign being so monumentally stupid.
George Bush lowered the bar for higher offiuce so low that even a Waffle House waitress like Palin qualifies. All that's missing is the pencil in her hair and an orderbook.

With Bush the warm, folksy commonness is somewhat of an act.
Palin is actually an ignorant jerk to the core.
She is just stupid.
As are the people who vote for her,
especially since she is the ticket as the vice president, not president.
If McCain is elected he should watch out for all the right assassins that will be gunning for him.
They are already praying for his immediate death.

Shes been hobbled by Mccain camp.
Shes been given so many posistions to adopt to fit his campaign.
She stumbles because she wants to say one thing and has to go back to her lessons of late.
I do want to know what she stand for and against but Mccains to paranoid to let us look at her.

Palin was doing just fine till she pissed off Randy Scheunemann with a statement in the Charlie Gibson interview. I'm surpised no one caught it, I missed it till I read about it. The same comment pissed off the Pentagon as well. She was right to speak her mind and her position fits the mold of American ideals.
Anybody know what I'm speaking of? One clue, her comment countered PNAC's position on guess which country?

I didnt catch that but I have seen early speechs and she not natural anymore.
That lack of confidence comes from the fear of misspeaking, I am sure coaching on presenting herself as what mccain wants is the cause.

Palin crossed the line and countered the Pentagon position. Piss off the JCS and "There will be Blood". IMO the comments were the pivotal point in the change from frequent interviews to Palin campaigning with speeches. Obama does the same with any speech that would counter the neocons/libs and the JCS position on Israel. Obama has to kiss ass to PNAC too.
Palin said it is okay for Israel to attack Iran and the USA should allow it. All those defense contractors went apeshitz too no doubt. We bully Israel and keep them from invading.........maybe the next Potus will let Israel at on its own? Not a bad idea.

During her interview with Gibson, Palin often took a neocon line. Three times she said that, should Israel decide to attack Iran, the United States should not "second guess" Israel's decision or interfere.
This contradicts U.S. policy. Adm. Michael Mullen, chairman of the joint chiefs, has warned Israel not to attack Iran, as the United States does not want a "third front." And the Pentagon is withholding crucial weapons the Israelis want and need to carry out any such attack.
Palin also volunteered that the Russian invasion was "unprovoked," though Georgia attacked South Ossetia first. She followed up by saying that Georgia and Ukraine should be brought into NATO.
Would that mean America would have to go to war with Russia on behalf of Georgia in any new conflict, asked Gibson.
"Perhaps so," said Palin.
Scheunemann should get a fat severance check from Saakashvili for that one.

In St. Paul, Palin was told to cancel a meeting with Phyllis Schlafly and pro-life conservatives. McCain's operatives said Palin had to rest for her Wednesday convention speech.
Yet, on Tuesday, Palin was behind closed doors with Joe Lieberman and officials of the Israeli lobby AIPAC. There, according to The Washington Post, Palin took and passed her oral exams
But make no mistake. Sarah Palin is no neocon. She did not come by her beliefs by studying Leo Strauss. She is a traditionalist whose values are those of family, faith, community and country, not some utopian ideology.
Yes, said Palin, "if there is legitimate and enough intelligence that tells us that a strike is imminent against (the) American people, we have every right to defend our country. In fact, the president has the obligation, the duty to defend."
Exactly. The intelligence must be legit and the threat "imminent."
That is not the language of empire or "benevolent global hegemony."
Palin may disappoint many conservatives in the next seven weeks by having to parrot the McCain line on NATO expansion, NAFTA and a "path to citizenship" for illegal aliens. But the battle for Sarah's soul is not over.
For, again, the lady is no neocon. Nor is the husband Todd, First Dude of Alaska and former member of the "Alaska First" Independence Party.

We "bully" Israel ???
Maybe the next president should let Israel loose ???
Maybe Israel should pay its own way and stop sucking off the American teet .. and perhaps we can convert sand into oil which is all Israel has.
You are correct about Obama and just about every other US politician having to kiss Israel's ass and contribute to the fast-rising religion of anti-americanism.

Agreed! The sooner we let Israel off the leash the better. Russia is interfering and we are caught in the middle. Let Israel handle Iran and Russia will most likely sit on the sidelines if we stay out of it. We only need to step in if it appears that Israel is going to fall.
Israel is using us and they are throwing lobby money at politiicians in effor to buy a war.
Sarah Palin spoke her mind and everyone missed it. I don't believe anyone in the press caught the quote. Palin was right.
Imaginary attacks on her family?
Good God, man. Put down the crack pipe.
Then please tell me what the MSM has said about her. I'm sure that you could easily provide a link.
