There's a $700 Billion number on the table. The President wants no oversight on that money meaning that he could use it to buy a palace in Dubai and it wouldn't be reviewable by anyone, ever!

How did they come up with $700 Billion?

Is it just to crippled the next Presidency even further?

To cripple the nation,

this will add around 10% to our already tremendous national debt.

Bush is a traitor,

and so are all of his criminal allies in & out of uniform.

There's going to be some heavy modifications to this bailout. I'm wondering if the Republicans can possibly say McCain saved the day and further push him away from the title of McBush.

This 'crisis' is at least half political maneuvering on the part of the lobbyists who hold the leashes to the Bush administration and the current congress. I think that they (the lobbyists) are desperately trying to make McCain more electable.

That alone is reason enough for me to vote for Obama.

I support Obama because I've read his Blueprint for Change.

They had a press conference today around noon and they kept saying that McCain was important because he showed the seriousness of this situation and that got the republicans focused.

Basically they were trying to say that they didn't take it seriously until McCain showed up.
