Great work, AJ.
You're gloating over the fact that an American company
lost $12.7 billion.
With any luck, as many as 20,000 to 30,000 American
workers might lose their jobs. Won't that be a feather
in the cap of the religious right?
That'll teach Ford not to treat those goddamn faggots
with any human decency or fairness.
Right, AJ?

AJ...do the world a service and boycott breathing until they clean up the air...so many possible and probable christian youth miss cross burnings, housebound with athsma and other airborne ailments...it's an outrage to contemplate...lost christians...to foul air. BOYCOTT...BOYCOTT...BOYCOTT!
It's so comforting to know that you jesus freaks are watching out for everyone's best interests.

Why has the USA lost over $5,000,000,000,000 since the Christian conservatives elected Dubya? Maybe now they will learn their lesson :lmao2:
Why is GM losing so much money?

It's ironic that Christians have so much animosity
toward gay people, considering the fact that
JESUS WAS GAY. http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/4233/smileysupergayii8.gif

Oh yeah. Bigtime dicksucker. He loved to travel
from town to town, hooking up with all the hottest
teenage boys with the cutest butts and the biggest
penises.
You know why Judas betrayed our lord and savior?
Judas went into a jealous rage when he caught his
boyfriend Jesus down on his knees, with his lips
wrapped around Matthew's peter.
It's ironic that Christians have so much animosity
toward gay people, considering the fact that
JESUS WAS GAY.
Betty while I appreciate your sense of humor and obviously AJ is filled with hate on many levels, making fun of some one's religion just doesn't seem right. Even if that someone has no respect for others, can't defend any of his statements and is just not able to connect the dots.
I don't think we should make fun of AJ's belief in Jesus. His hatred for so many things is certainly worth jokes because Jesus preached love and peace but some of his current followers don't get that most basic of facts.

Moby...You have made an unwarrented assumption as to AJ's beliefs...he definitely does NOT believe in jesus.
One's belief in jesus is not based upon his existence or that he did indeed exist at some time, but "belief" means one accepts and FOLLOWS what the man professed and stood for...obviously AJ is one who does quack like a duck...but evidenced by the stinking piles left on these threads with his moniker on them...he shits just like a bull.
For you to leap to the conclusion that he's a christian just because he's hateful, ignorant and loudly aggressive about publically demonstrating his stupidity...is profiling. (but I can see how easily one can make that error...and I am the last one to point a finger at you in earnest:)
Whether or not jesus was gay...no one can prove he didn't have two heads...just like no one know anything about england's Arthur...altho like jesus, no one disavows that one or more "arthurs" lived...but also, they will admit the Arthur, is a composit of many who were given the honorific: "Arthur".
That aside...words attributed to jesus...sopposedly out of his mouth, are magnitudes higher in spiritual evolution than the book they were embedded in.
Those who spun the book around his words didn't understand what he said through a glass darkly...or less poetically...in "monkey on a typwriter" mode
If one would excize and collect what jesus actually said (and these are recongizably of a much greater maturity so easily recognized), and burn the rest, the whole world would not only be free to grow into maturity, but encouraged to grow...as this book, as it stands, discourages being responsible and self reliant and to avoid the churches....in which one hands over their birthright of a personal relationship with their god to an outside agenda.
A parallel to this movement by the church to hobble their adherants' personal development, would be if instead of the gay jesus, they instead applied all thier efforts to insure santa claus was the myth we all must accept with the black robes as his voice down in the lower 48.
If we bought this tripe to the same degree as we buy the other tripe, then ont only would we fight evolution, but also develop scenerios like a movement that every citizen be bad, so we can solve the energy crises with stockings full of coal///the point being that all of us would be even less evolved than we are...like flat world with four corners ignorant.
christianity (and all organized religions equally) is singularly responsible for outlook on the world...
The concept that one has, in their possession of the "right" delineated in their book, and from which, they can distinguish all that is wrong...is a child's
point of view. A child damns his parents...like the bitch in office....either/or...with me or against me...right or wrong...they wack you with their axe...and get two halves...separate night from day...good from bad...they have on idea that one can only exist if the other exists....that far too advanced for people who believe in creationist striding accross the heavens.
Still, they fight to stamp out all they consider wrong...but light is meaningless if it is always light...as is the notion of cold or hot...the one can only be measured by the other...Aj doesn't get it...I know...but that doesn't matter to him...his cup as already full and any new information just slides accross the top making a mess...which angers him into writing mode.

I don't think we should make fun of AJ's belief in Jesus.
I disagree. If Christians were an oppressed minority, then
it might be inappropriate or bigoted to make fun of them,
like telling an ethnic joke.
But considering that Christians are the dominant religion
in America, with immense financial, political and military
might -- and their very own born-again bonehead in the
White House, in control of the biggest nuclear arsenal in
the world -- it's not only appropriate, it's healthy for us
to ridicule right-wing Christian hypocrisy.
I know moderate Christians who have moderate views,
and I would never make fun of them.
But AJ is different. He uses fundamentalist Christianity
as the basis for his political views, many of which I find
ridiculous and delusional. They seem so goofy to me,
I can't respond seriously. I have to ridicule them.
That's how I get my opposing viewpoint across.
I hope AJ continues posting. http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/3166/avatarralphpastezf0.gif

AJ is not your enemy, and has guts to post such. Whether someone likes the message or messenger is not all that big of deal in the scheme of things. Personal attacks reveal somethings and in the end is worthless and vanity under the sun. Honest discussion without personal attacks is more righteous by any standard.

Also to AJ the real Christian way is to admonish the sinner, but do not deminish the sinner. Least we all become unworthy judges and are actually guilty by casting stones for most likely none of us are Saints. Jugement and venegence is not ours, even if we know scripture well otherwise. We are all subject to biases and experiences that get reflected in things we say and do. Let's choose higher ground and enjoy that people are not robots and can have different points of view. No one here is most likely wise enough to explain the universe in reference to time and space etc. If so though, please give us your take, surely it would not be an easy task.

OK. If the moderators of this board will allow people to make fun of any religious figure that have any historical precedence then this ain't a place for me. If you want to make fun Xeno that's one thing since he's only been around for a couple of decades and was created by a science fiction writer but other then that, I think it's wrong.

AJ started this thread for the purpose of using Christianity
to attack gay people. AJ hates gays so much, he even hates
the Ford company for hiring gays. AJ hates gays so much,
he gloats that a boycott of Ford by conservative Christians
has caused Ford to lose $12.7 billion, which will undoubtedly
result in layoffs of American workers.
AJ has made it crystal clear that his hatred of gays is based
on his blind faith in right-wing conservative Christianity.
Are we supposed to give AJ a pass when he uses Christianity
to attack gays, liberals, Democrats, and the other targets
of the religious right?

Ah, yes. You have a monopoly on the truth. How very...
Christian of you. Your humility is touching.
Well, since you have a monopoly on the truth, I'd like to
know the truth about whether or not you believe in the
second coming of Christ. Do you believe that the world
will end in Armageddon? Do you believe in the rapture?
Would you mind giving us the truth on these questions?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Betty I can feel your love through the network, fyi just because someone acknowledges or follows Christ does not mean what you are broadly painting. I and others don't have an affinity for Bush or either party or persons. I will be civil and wish not to tongue lash you or others with various views(even if I don't like the message), hey I might even learn something from others (even though the brain has been siezed from Alien evangelical types-humor intended only). Yes, Dubya has made stupenious decisions or mistakes I could say the same of Clinton's or others. It is a catch-22 these days to run our country, we have to appease all views points.
In all fairness on religion 'since it is looking all phony and made up'(not my assertion) then that means multi-millions of followers, believers, Popes, clergy, theologians, nunns, religious artifacts and archeology, works of Mother Angelica-Theresa, hundreds of Saints, etc. and many others are apparently all suckers and mis-informed and their works and testimony of living a decent sytle of life is worthless????
We have Satan worshipers whom believe in their works and even steal the eucharist from alters, so they can use them for their 'wonderful' works. They pray over the illegal drugs so as to make them bind and chain the poor saps that take them and apparently it helps or they would not do it or are they misinformed???(this is from testimonials not my guess). Are they all phonies and it is all made up stuff? The history of all these types and works done, are all made up, tales? Is demonic types all faked, does exercism ever happen?
Peace my lady

Paul..YE KNOW NOT WHAT YOU DO.
Not only have you and your ilk promoted ignorance in every fileld by attacking/resisting science on every new front, causing US to import talent not to excell, but to slow our fall from being leaders in the world...and with your numbers and money, have foisted your twisted and inmature morals upon the rest of us with ill effect throughout our society, not the least of which, creating a class of desperate child-mothers scared into a lifetime of abject poverty and squallor...but you have in your numbers, which you... Paul..count yourself a member, combined with your arrested development, fuelled and stil fuel the war against drugs.
Just that you accept the word "war" in your push, demonstrates beyond doubt, your attitude toward the sons and daughters of yours and mine, who looked to ther elders...not to blindly accept their answers, but to find answers on their own...but you people don't offer christian charity, don't offer a hand out of the difficulties, but instead want to make war on them,
jail them, ruin the young male lives as you ruin reluctant child mothers.
One of the spinoffs of your sick efforts, is that we can't grow hemp nation wide...hemp fiber, as I have previously posted, could relieve our dependance on oil, and relieve the pressure on our forrests, and provide a boon cash crop...bigger than king cotton, and used for the same purposes...but you freaks keep us all from benifitting from this eventuality...just as surely as we suffer your filth-filled mentalities in retarding the progress in stem cell research.
You see Paul...you are a blight we suffer. You obviously don't consider yourself humanity's blight...because you are trained not to think at all...but the bitch of it is...that is how the rest us experience your efforts in our society.
.Now listen sharply Paul...You come on this list and pump the party line, then when some of us object vehemently...you demand/beg us to be more christian in our acceptence of you...when you have not a whit of that brand of acceptence in you.
The fact is Paul, is that you so called, self styled, christians, don't have or want acceptance on any front...all they want/demand is conformance to their constrained view of existence...When in Rome...change rome to suit.
I won't afford you what you recognize as christian charity, Paul, to me you are a cockroach that is running accross my kitchen floor...I have a response to that sort of situation where for one to prosper, the other must by that amount decline.
You don't understand or intend to allow, the 'live and let live" of civilized peoples of the world...that makes you a cockroach and cancer, a force for ill.
Use your energies and money to save those girls you've frightened away from the abortion clinics.
Do whatever it takes to restore their childhood to them.
Care for and nourish these children so important to you that you would kill innocent people to bring them into the life of squallor you've committed them to. Do it for 20 years for each one of them.
Take responsibility for your crimes against these children...or slink back under your rock.

As long as so many people have to believe in a supreme being or any of the fairy tales promoted through religion there can never be a true discourse on the issues - tying ones life to any magical, invisible power belief is the truest form of idiocy and lack of responsibility that can be taken by a human being - it gives them someone to blame for their own or others failures.
Imagine a world where people actually believed in themselves - and took full responsibility for their own failures and short-comings. We wouldnt have any need for wars, no reasons would exist to feel ashamed at your own actions in the eyes of others, and for once maybe this world would have a chance of surviving for a little more time.

The fact is people are not and should not be responsible for themselves or their actions. Most people's problems are the fault of society or some sort of medical condition. Few people are where they are because of their own actions, life is essentially how lucky you are. This is why a large, inefficient, corrupt entity like government should be responsible for us.

You only have to look to see how the liberals and neocons, both big government lovers, have assumed power of the two parties to see I am very serious. People love big government and hate the responsibility that comes with freedom. When you see a politician (one who actually has a chance to win office) mention anything similar to JFK's famous words ("ask not what your country can do for you...") maybe I will be a little less serious. For now politicians run almost exclusively on what they will get government to do for us, and we vote accordingly.
Your dream world of people being responsible for themselves is laughable.

lost $12.7 billion dollars last year, and that a wonderful
group of caring Christians, the American Family Association,
waged a boycott of the struggling American auto company
for committing the heinous crime of hiring gay Americans
and providing benefits for their domestic partners.
How many heterosexual auto workers do you suppose will
get laid off as a result of this boycott concocted by the
American Family Association? How many American families
will lose their homes as a result of the layoffs?
Tell us more about the great work being done by...
