This man's words make a strong and determined argument for freedom in Iraq. Obama would not disagree if it weren't for the superficial election pandering. Make notice of this mans sacrifice as he walks.

Hey, if you don't have any actual fundamental values for america's future as your party's selling points, naturally you trot out the people who lost their limbs for a "ooops sorry we made a mistake" war that just coincidentally enriches the corporations on corporate welfare, makes Iran a greater power in the middle east, and hands the worlds last remaining superfields of light sweet crude to the Chinese.
Why not make a tragic and tragically expensive war based on a "mistake" your last refuge?
You got not much else but fear of the black man.
Drill baby drill!

You be-little this man and his sacrifice. Hopefully someday you will wise up.
There are Americans, there are great Americans and there are liberals.
One of these three groups is the bottom feeders of American society.

How different would things really be if this young man, and his comrades hadn't been asked to sacrifice?
How different would things really be if this young man and his comrades sacrifice had been for a true occupation of Iraq and establishment of a democracy there instead of whatever it is we have been doing there since Desert Storm?
I don't belittle this mans sacrifice or his convictions...
But I have to ask why? Why was the sacrifice necessary? What have we gained?
I have to ask what difference could true leadership in DC have made?
The next time we go to war, lets win the fucker as quickly as is possible, eh?

Cute Bill, aren't you glad your working interests are producing income? Obama is for drilling, so what's the problem. You kissin ass to Momma Pelosi??? Obama trumped the wicked witch with plans for limited drilling, get behind it or get a moped hater dog, woof woof!!!
Don't forget McCain has plans for reform and he understands the economy, We just figured out Obama doesn't understand the economy. Give Obama a blank check and he and his healthcare buddies will loot the economy. Wanna see a solider wait 2 years for an operation, how about the poor? Some soldiers are proud of thier country and not just for the first time in thier life like Michelle Obama..................where she been the last 40 plus years???:lmao2:
At least McCain actually spent time with the troops off camera!!!!!!!!!!!
Obama snobbed them to go play basket ball, no camera's....no Obama.
What a fucking class act............may those troops Obama snobbed were from small towns, union towns or maybe they own guns and cling to religion?????

Wasn't my choice either Joe. I retired O-4 from the Navy, so I understand a little better than most. Thought this post would be clean and with limited bias, oh well, attack dog Bill can eat it, lol. At least you understand this man and convey it in writing. Fact is the genocide in Iraq was going to continue regardless. Remember Kosovo, Bosnia and Haiti, we stopped genocide there too, Reps were against the war, it was superfiscal and more about pandering voters. Sooner or later the USA would have invaded Iraq. Sure the argument for Iraq was bogus but this thread is not about the war. This thread is about the words of strong men and the conviction for what we can accomplish in Iraq.

I believe that there are reasons for America to point and use weapons against governments on this planet... Iraq included. Lord knows we couldn't have afforded to keep things going the way Bush Sr and Bill Clinton left things...
I just want us to consider the cost of war and either commit to win it - D-day / Normandy / Invasion-of-Europe-to-kick-Nazi-ass style or back off.
Never again should America engage in 'The Business of War... Did we learn nothing from Korea and Vietnam?

-JoeIt's sad that you don't see the accomplishments of our American Warriors.
It's sad that you can't see how their sacrifice has improved the entire world.
Yes Joe, you actually do "belittle this mans sacrifice or his convictions", along with every other Veteran who has sacrificed for you.
The next time we go to war, lets win the fucker as quickly as is possible, eh?
You speak as if you are very young, with little or no life experiences. Your idea of a fast food, "drive through war" is widespread now days.
Our enemies say Americans no longer have the courage, perseverance or conviction to defend ourselves.
Because of people like you, they say we have become weak and complacent. It is a major reason they so readily attack us.
Like wild animals when they sense weakness in their prey. The "new breed" of Americans make us appear to be weak and encourage our enemies to attack.
You appear to be a good person who has been swayed by the hateful words of some very bad and ignorant people......"Liberals".

Hog, can you look me in the keyboard and tell me that America has given this war 100%?
If we had invaded Europe in the 40's with the same leadership as we invaded Iraq, we would all be speaking German now!
We entered Iraq with no leadership from Bush, save his desire to see Halliburton profits go through the taxpayers roof.
All I am saying is that if war is the answer, we had better take it seriously. The people on the ground, sacrificing life and limb to foment that answer deserve no less from We, The People (American Leadership).
Why are we not flying flags at half mast until every soldier is home?
Why have our leaders not asked us to do more than go shopping at Wal-mart for cheap Chinese crap?
Why did we not occupy and secure Iraq from day one?
Why did we not provide armor for our soldiers?
Our leaders, Bush and the congress, allowed Al-Quida and the insurgency to exist and grow in Iraq.
There is a reason that the surge policy was effective - more boots on the ground! Greater occupation! If war is the answer, let's 'GET 'ER DONE!'

-JoeOf course not. Our chicken shit government has stooped to fighting a politicaly correct war, brought about by whiny liberals complaining about American tactics, accusations of atrocities by Americans and treatment of terrorists at Gitmo by America and basicaly every bullshit claim imaginable to tie the hands of the American Military in an effort to bring about defeat in Iraq.
Politicaly run war had its first serious consequences in Viet Nam. When a country decides it necessary to go to war the politicians should step aside and turn it over to the Generals. Much more efficient with faster results and fewer casualties.

This war would have slowed down sooner if the military had used more air support. Most Iraqi citizens flee the war torn areas. So why not use helicopter gun ships as back up support. Use air support and blast hard and fast. Instead we go door to door and fight with weapons that are better than the enemy but the enemy has less far of soliders since the fight is in the streets. Air support would have demoralized the enemy sooner. So we could get er done. Bush ain't the smartest guy in the room, not even when he walks into a elementary school.

Remember when we tied our troops hands and told them they couldn't follow or fire on the enemy if they took refuge in Mosques or schools. Liberal rules for war resulting in increased American casuaties. Liberals don't care. Most like the idea of more dead Americans. Liberals should all be drafted and put on the front lines....What a beautiful thought....Hey, somebody get me the Draft Board on the phone.

So true. Dems are so selfish to argue against a war they voted for and repeatedly funded while knowing Iraq will be free off tyranny. Pandering voters with the self loathing superfiscial nonsense. If Dems start a war then its okay to kill, dem supporters turn a blind eye, except for the extreme dems who hate all war and protest.......actor Martin Sheen is such a extreme man.
