Ms. Palin declined to grant an interview for this article. The McCain-Palin campaign responded to some questions on her behalf and that of her husband, while referring others to the governor’s spokespeople, who did not respond. - The New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/14/us/politics/14palin.html?hp=&adxnnl=1&adxnnlx=1221343324-tGxa66AkDRYq1tsNYpjoIw&pagewanted=all)
Like it or not The New York Times is the book of record. Nice front page article for the Sunday paper.

Vince Foster would probably have rather worked for her....at least he would
be alive.
Thats the way it works. Who would be so stupid as to hire someone they
hated. Supporters get the cream, I dont see anything wrong with that.
Nepotism? I could tell you about the sheriff in this little town...hes goin
down for inappropriate sexual practices with the inmates...his whole famly
will be in the unemployment line. Some people find it acceptable. As long
as it gets the job done...and nothing more.

Hiring people you know to be honest, reliable, dependable and qualified is usualy considered sound judgement as opposed to taking chances on the unknown.
I believe this is something anyone would do whenever possible. I have no problem with this and don't understand why anyone else would?!

This has all been gone over.
When she came into office, she requested the resignation of everyone under her; and asked them to resubmit applications to be considrered for positions. She wanted a clean slate, to get rid of the old corrupt network and only have people working under her whom she could trust and agreed with her positions - so she could get things done.
That is her right and prerogative as chief executive.
BTW, that's how it's done with new administrations in Washington and pretty much everywhere else in government.

That is not how it is done. It's called a loyalty test and we Americans have never supported it.
That is her right and prerogative as chief executive.
She's an employee of the people. She's not a Princess.
Just like Bush. He's an employee and nothing more.

As governor, her responsibility is to correct problems.
State employees are usually the cause of many problems.
Firing and hiring is her job. Obama supporters are grasping at straws again.
I have never seen so much petty bullshit in all my life.
A wonderful and beautiful sign of panic and fear. Palin's doing something right.
I have never seen so much petty bullshit in all my life.
So you do read what you post when you sober up. :lmao2:

So you do read what you post when you sober up. :lmao2:I've been kinda watching you lately......When I sober up of course.
You seem to expend about 80% of your energy, taking jabs and trying to be witty.
Do you know anything worth posting, or is this pretty much the extent of your talent?
