So maybe Obama has poor decision making skills? He was present for 130 votes he refused or couldn't make up his mind on even though other Dems voted! Dems have had control but spending is still going even higher!!

Obama chose Biden and Biden says Hillary was a better choice!:lmao2:

This is who Obama chose. Not Hillary and her 18 million supporters!!!!!!

Obama wanted to tax a country with a poor economy and Obama wants to give corporate welfare too. He was for tax hikes and now he might be against them...........against them till after Super Tuesday.

Nearly ONE BILLION in EARMARKS to buy votes and kiss ass to the rich elitist buddies in DC!!! 2 years and a Billion in waste.

Imagine 4 years and no money to pay for free insurance which equates to socialized medicine. Corporations want socialized medicine to increase profits while they reduce the number of payout claims. Big government getting bigger. The poor will be the last to be treated under socialized medicine. Candians come to the USA to save thier lives.......I wonder where they'll go 4 years from now???

Joe, be a man and step a side so that Obama can correct his mistake by replacing you with Hillary as VP. Otherwise you will be known as the spoiler of the century

Great move by Biden to grease his way on EXIT and set the stage for Hillary to come in , Dont think this hasn't been discuss the sooner you do it the better , I always felt Biden would be better serve as SEC OF STATE he loves to travel . So Hillary come on down and get into the spotlight again
when you go heads up against Palin , her camp CAN'T USE THE SEXISM CARD.

Biden: Hillary a Better Pick Than Me
September 10, 2008 5:17 PM

ABC News' Matthew Jaffe reports: Sen. Barack Obama's, D-Ill., vice presidential nominee, Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., Wednesday said that Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., might have been a better pick for the position than him.

At a rally in Nashua, N.H., a man in the audience told Biden how glad he was that Obama picked him over Hillary, "not because she's a woman, but because, look at the things she did in the past."

"Make no mistake about this," Biden responded. "Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America. Let’s get that straight. She’s a truly close personal friend, she is qualified to be president of the United States of America, she’s easily qualified to be vice president of the United States of America, and quite frankly, it might have been a better pick than me. But she’s first rate, I mean that sincerely, she’s first rate, so let’s get that straight."

Spokesman Ben Porritt offered this response from the McCain camp: "Barack Obama’s most important decision of this election, and Biden -- the candidate he selects -- suggests, himself, that he wasn’t the right man for the job, and that Hillary Clinton would have been a better choice. Biden certainly has a credible viewpoint on this."

Obama's choice for VP was decided by his ego.

He was on top the world and feeling indestructable.

He is now asking himself, how could he have been so stupid.

Biden was the best pick Obama could have made. Everything Biden said is true. The man is honest. Hillary is also much more qualified than McCain and Sarah Who? . What he did not or would not say is that this campaign would be several times uglier had Clinton won the nomination or had been picked in the VP slot. Republicans may currently talk like they have some type of love fest for Hillary, but they hate her and Bill with a passion. Remember Hannity's "Stop Hillary Express?" It worked and forced the Repugs to launch a hate campaign against someone for which they had little ammunition. They have hit Obama with everything but the kitchen sink and the man is still standing.

The Karl Rove style of the politics of destruction is not going to work this time around. People are sick and tired of it. Obama will be our next president.

Biden Gaffe: Tells Cripple to 'Stand Up'

Tuesday, September 9, 2008 5:34 PM

Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden made an embarrassing remark during a campaign appearance in Columbia, Mo., on Tuesday.

Standing before a large gathering, Biden tried to give special recognition to State Senator Chuck Graham by shouting out to him: “Chuck, stand up, let the people see you.”

It was only then that Biden realized Graham is confined to a wheelchair. But he recovered quickly and told the crowd to “stand up for Chuck.” The crowd responded with a rousing cheer for Graham.

Hmmm?.....You don't suppose Biden might take one for the team do ya???

Maybe he's setting us up for a plan to step down and turn VP over to Hillary?

As it stands, the Dems are looking at a loosing hand. Drastic measures may be necessary?

Now that I think more about it, you are probably right. Biden is one of the most astute and experienced members of congress when it comes to foreign policy. He would have made a better presidential candidate than anyone that the Repugs had to offer.

Hillary is going to make a great Supreme Court Justice when Obama appoints her to fill the next vacancy. That is going to make the lunatics really go wild!

I simply meant for the votes they desperately need, that she might could bring back to the Party.

If they were true Democrats they should follow behind Hillary and vote for Obama, Although we are seeing allot of true colors from allot of folks. For a Democrat to vote for McCain or not vote brings me to think there is something else keeping them from voting..

Those votes should even each other out......The deciding vote will be made by independent voters, who for the most part ignore party or racial lines.

Agree, I feel if they just listen to the issue. I feel the main issue is getting America back, getting folks back on there feet. We know Republicans won't and can't do it. The working class always suffer under the republicans, hopefully the Independents will vote for what is best to get this country back on its feet. Get folks working again so they can afford this high ass gas and the price hike on food.

Even without these serious offenses, the fact that he has no executive leadership experience, makes him unacceptable for the top job.

His fast rise in politics was only made possible by his connection with the corrupt 'Chicago Political Machine'....Just another corrupt politician.

Who hasn't, You think Bush has no Terrorist ties? You can't judge him from what another individual intentions are. If that is the case no one running would qualify they all have people in there background they will regret doing business with (Hillary) - Wal Mart as an example.

You think McCain, or Hillary has executive leadership experience? Well lets go ahead and X Hillary out she is finished.

I sense some jealousy because he was able to make it this far so quick. I don't think it has to do with corruption it has to do with timing. Timing is everything, he has just come along at a time where the country is messed up and need change. You can't fault someone that takes a chance when the chance comes along.

I guess you think Haliburton here in Addison Tx didn't have anything to do with getting GW elected.

I guess you think Haliburton here in Addison Tx didn't have anything to do with getting GW elected.I never voted for Bush. As a matter of fact I haven't voted for a Democrat or Republican in 20 years. I call it like I see it with no Party Bias. In my opinion both Major political parties are corrupt to the core. Being on the outside I am able to see the truth, something people who have party loyalties are not capable of. I also do not practice political correctness so I can say things others can only think. Of course I get accused of being a racist for this, but it doesn't concern me. Freedom of thought and speech takes priority over the accusations of foolish cowards.

Yes, GW is corrupt, along with his father and Barack Obama and John McCain. This election we have a new equation added to the mix. An America hating racist who is also corrupt.

I have to choose between getting robbed or getting robbed and murdered.

Hmmm?....That's a tuff one...I may have to vote for a Republican, for the first time in 20 years.

Biden is an ANGRY OLD MAN who makes unpredictable comments. He's a hater with a an angry old mans past, the man has a significant history of angry comments. Hillary was a better VEEP choice and you know it. 18 million voters know it too. Obama alienated the majority of Dems by passing over the right Veep in favor of Biden. Hillary has the right expereince for the Veep ticket, comparable to Dan Qualye. Palinhas more experience than Hillary or Obama.

As the Veep, Hillary would have brought the country a 2 term First Lady and a 2 term Govenor's first lady as well as her extensive legal expereince going back as far as her role as legal counsel in the Nixon Watergate investigations. Hillary is no lightweight in DC!!!

Hillary in the Supreme Court, trust me she would never get past the hearings.

Angry Old Man? Biden? Nah.....here's an angry old man

“The thought of his being president sends a cold chill down my spine,” Cochran said about McCain. “He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper, and he worries me.”

“He [McCain] would disagree about something and then explode,” said former Sen. Bob Smith, a fellow Republican who served with McCain on various committees. “[There were] incidents of irrational behavior. We’ve all had incidents where we have gotten angry, but I’ve never seen anyone act like that.”

“People who disagree with him get the f*** you,” said former Rep. John LeBoutillier, a New York Republican who had an encounter with McCain when he was on a POW task force in the House. “I think he is mentally unstable and not fit to be president.”

Do you know why McCain voted twice against the MLK holiday? Guess how many Dems also voted against it? Opposed another Federal Holiday. Go back to 1983 and 1989 articles. Many of the 2008 articles conveniently leave off the reasons why. Why tell the American citizens the whole truth when leaving off details is only a lie if they get caught?

In 1983, McCain voted against passing a bill to designate the third Monday of every January as a federal holiday in honor of King. Four years later, then-Arizona Governor Evan Mecham rescinded Martin Luther King Day as a state holiday, saying it had been established through an illegal executive order by his Democratic predecessor.

McCain said he thought Mecham was correct in his decision.

Two years after that, McCain’s viewpoint began to change, but only gradually. In 1989, he urged lawmakers to make Martin Luther King Jr. day a state holiday, but said he was “still opposed to another federal holiday.”

Curious, you neglected to cite your source: Huffington Post (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/04/01/mccains-memphis-visit-ra_n_94531.html).

By 2000, McCain had come full circle. In an interview with ABC News during the Republican primary, he said he regretted voting against the 1983 bill. "Yes," he stated, "It was a wrong vote."

Of course he lied (http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/08/02/mccain-lies-about-his-support-for-mlk-jr-day-in-arizona/). McCain’s stance on the issue is a matter of record. Now McCain isn’t a racist. He is simply uninformed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8ozQz0qe3c). And now that he is informed he chooses to cavort with racists.

The why he reversed his opinion isn't addressed here. Arizona wanted to host a superbowl. Couldn't do that with this hanging over their heads and that would include any national events like the NCAA. They tried to compromise by reintroducing the state holiday and they were forced to go the whole nine yards.

Hmmm, thought the link posted, I believe it was the Washington Post, I'll find it later. I could not find a reason why other than the comment about federal holidays. No doubt political pressure to vote nay was a factor, people were very hateful everytime the issue came up. No proof of racism, just speculation.
