Hey, SirMoby and PhoneMistress, suck on this:
ABC's Charles Gibson getting interview with Gov. Sarah Palin
Gov. Sarah Palin came in for a lot of criticism on the Sunday morning chat shows because she wasn't giving interviews.
Turns out she will give a major interview this week to ABC's Charles Gibson in Alaska.
I wonder why Rick Davis couldn't have announced that news when he appeared on "Fox News Sunday"? The McCain campaign could have avoided sniping from the press and the Democrats about Palin being sequestered from the media. The McCain camp knew this information: It made the offer to Gibson several days ago, The Associated Press reported.
That revelation makes Davis' combative comments on "Fox News Sunday" all the stranger. "She's not scared to answer questions," Davis told Chris Wallace. "But you know what? We run our campaign, not the news media. And we'll do things on our timetable."
Wallace was so forceful on the issue, I'm surprised that he didn't get the first interview with Palin since Sen. John McCain picked her as his running mate.

Why are so many republicans hostile and talking about sucking and asses? Is it some type of gay oral fetish?
It's about time for her to have an interview. It's been a long time since her announcement. I still wonder why they waited so long. That's almost 3 weeks after her announcement as VP.

I seem to remember a huge time lag (far more than three weeks) after Obama announced before he was willing to give interviews. With people on the right questioning it.

Hey, SirMoby and PhoneMistress, suck on this:
That was deliciously nasty.
The McCain Campaign said she wasn't going to do interviews. I said that stunt wasn't going to work. I was right. And somehow the messenger is pissed on? In the future separate the message from the messenger and try to be a little more civil in our discussions.
Your memory is faulty.

What "stunt" "didn't work"?
How is my memory faulty?
To me, whether it was a stunt or not, it sure had an effect on people like SM and you.
They were ambiguous about interviews; and you people ran with it.

People point it out got her to do interviews now didn't it?
So Smurf, what is it about all this "sucking" and "ass" mentioning coming from you and those that support your cause any way?
This isn't from a very reliable source yet but the claim is on Meet The Press Today.
SCHIEFFER: When will you let her out to campaign on her own? When will she start having news conferences? When will she start doing interviews?
MCCAIN: As you know we just finished the convention. Within the next few days. I'm strongly recommending that she come on "face the nation" with Bob Schieffer. That will be the first of her 65 appearances.
SCHIEFFER: All right. We'll make a place for her here.
If this is true then it appears that the McCain campaign caved to pressure. Right now we're dealing with a person that hasn't been in the spot light much so it's important to hear what she has to say.
Mr, gone

Is Charles Gibson of ABC based in Alaska as an affiliate of ABC? Or is he fiyng in for the interview... If he is a resident, then I feel the interview will be biased as she is so popular there.

To me it seems DEMOCRATIC, vs. Republican. I can't think of one Republican in favor of two men marrying each other. Seems the "gay marriage" thing is is a hot topic for Democrats.
Eh?

Eh?
But Smurf is speaking about it?
Don't forget Romney. He's was OK with it until he started running for President.

Looks like he was being sarcastic, to me.
