View Full Version : Who Is Attacking Sarah Palin's Children?
I keep hearing about but I can't find any articles in the Main Stream Liberal Media attacking her.
Any links to a statement from a leading democratic politician attacking her?
Any links or reports from the news networks attacking her?
I'm just curious if they're reporting or attacking.
Where is it?

Stop it.
You know very well what's going on, by all we've been posting.

Did you read the article?
No.
I hear it was inspired by bloggers.
They're all feeding off each other.

I just heard the editor speak. The lies refer to liberal bloggers, not Palin.
So back to SirMoby's original question, where are the articles by Main Street Liberal Media attacking her?

Find them.

Is the National Enquirer (http://www.nationalenquirer.com/) considered mainstream? This week they released an article about the extended family drama, and today/tomorrow's cover suggests Palin had an extra-martial affair. However, they didn't attack the children.
That's today's talking point: (1) The media is attacking Palin because she is a woman. It's sexist. (2) The media is attacking Palin's children.
Lies. Desperate, pathetic lies.

When the NE first broke a story about Edwards, the neos were salivating. They are tabloid press and not mainstream by any means.

Well, then the answer is no.
No one in the mainstream is going to touch this. And if you think about it, all of this hoopla was not suppose to happen. Obama gave his speech on Thursday. On Friday McCain introduced Palin and we were suppose to spend a quiet holiday weekend buzzing about Palin. That was the plan. Then the blogs took over, Sunday NE outed Palin and on Monday the announcement was made about the pregnancy.
This is the Republican Party's week. Traditionally the opposing side tiptoes about allowing the spotlight to shine on the party up to bat.
The only thing I have seen are Republicans. I haven't seen a Democrat in front of a camera all week. Why would they? To paraphrase Napoleon, when your enemy is making a mistake, don't interrupt him.
So, no.

No, they're attacking her because she's not Hillary Clinton.
And her pregnant daughter has to endure the stress of people accusing her of being the real mother of Sarah's latest kid.
If they go too far and can't back it up, from what I've heard of her, the Enquirer can expect a law suit on that.

The NE needs to be sued. It's a trash magazine.

The mainstream media touched the issues Moby, Google It, or go to CNN or even NBC.com. The so called journalists and commentators as well as the usual sleazy guests are sliming the froth all over the child issue. You've seen it on this website as well. Plenty of slime and slimey people making crap up and they have no credibility.
The media are backing off the issue because the story is not that significant to the campaign. The mainstream media are almost as Tabloid as the cable news shows these days. At least they clean it up quicker.
This woman is far better politician than neoliberal Hillary Clinton. Google Clinton Gate for all the facts. Nobody owns Palin.

The story of the day out here in Minneapolis is the McCain campaign's war against the press...
There is a tendency in the media to kick ourselves, cringe and withdraw, when we are criticized. But I hope my colleagues stand strong in this case: it is important for the public to know that Palin raised taxes as governor, supported the Bridge to Nowhere before she opposed it, pursued pork-barrel projects as mayor, tried to ban books at the local library and thinks the war in Iraq is "a task from God." The attempts by the McCain campaign to bully us into not reporting such things are not only stupidly aggressive, but unprofessional in the extreme.

Joe Klein seems to think it's the other way around. McCain attacking the media.

Most of what those type of papers write are lies. They are not a reputable source of info. Unless you want crapola.

Joe Klien is not the solution, he is part of the problem, even the title of his waste of writing is so appropriate "Angry Amateurs". Idiot libs like this spin in thier panties because they can't stand a man have the same level of free speech as this idiot liberal pathetically enjoys. All he did was rehash already old information and pretend there is something new to say. Waste of time and effort. Klien is a psuedo-intellectual lacking deep thoughs, lacking conviction and Klien has no vision of anything but his own narcisstic desires.
Klien is so far from the mainstream liberal media, he's not worth the price of used toilet paper.
Didn't Obama also critque the press? His senior staff did as did Hillary's and her staff. Someone needs to focus the media on real issues. If they want trash they should follow Paris Hilton around town.
Find them.
That's your job, not mine.
So the issue has been reported by the Neoconservative media and GOP political machine but no one can point to a single respected mainstream media outlet or a respected democrat that is attacking her.
Interesting.
