Assroc made a statement about Obama's Bounce:
The RCP average is the average of the polls from the 10th to now, I'm talking about the incoming bounce.
To which I said:
What "Bounce"?
Please show it to me.
If anything, Obama is starting to slip on his grip.
There is no bounce.
Ohhh and by the way, McCain mopped the floor with Obama in the Sadleback showdown.
Trust me there assroc, I am not mad about Obama "Bouncing", when the facts show he is slipping.

To which naturally assroc never did show me any "bounce".
Now we see Obama's "RCP" lead down from 4.5 when the post was made to now only 1.7.

Damn Assroc, I see the Mesiah is "bouncing" alright.
Bouncing backwards. :lmao2:

Patience, padawan.
It's only the beginning of the week and the convention just started. I was talking about the post-convention bounce, which occurs every time.
I suppose I shouldn't have assumed you'd know that. Silly me.

Start watching what gallup does between Wednesday to over the weekend. Then you can mock me if you'd like. But for now, this thread just shows you jumping the gun.
You should stop using the RCP average too, as it includes known bullshit outliers as Zogby.

Another thing to consider is that both candidates will have post-covention bounces in polls, and ultimately they're fairly meaningless.
As are most national polls from now until about October.
If somebody breaks out and starts holding a 10-15 point lead in the national polls for more than a week at a time, that's when one of us can actually start gloating.
Anything smaller than that is just horserace.
But of course, what I just gave you is a rational, nuanced view. You just want to play "gotcha".
Remember the first time in history when exit polls in America were wrong?
It ain't until the fat lady sings so there is never a time to be gloating over polls.

Awe Bull Shit Assroc, you were talking about how Obama was bouncing, you said NOTHING about after the convention and you know it.
Fact of the matter is Assroc, Obama is loosing ground and you know it.

I didn't say bouncing, I said "incoming bounce" and I said it just days before the convention. You can see for yourself in the post you quoted to make this silly gotcha thread.
What else would I have been referring to?
But please, refer to my post about a bounce not mattering anyway, unless somebody can hold a significant lead, if you're going to pay attention to anything I say at all. You seem to be in the habit of only reading what you want to read.

You would think his holiness, The Messiah, The Chosen One, The Great Negro - would be up by 25-30% by now.
Me thinks McCain is going to win this one.....
McCain would stun the Dems if he picked someone like JC Watts as his running mate!!!! LOL!!!!!!

Why would anybody think Obama would be up 30%? What was the last election that even had a 10% win?
You guys are being pretty silly, the general election campaign hasn't even begun yet.

Why would anybody think Obama would be up 30%?
I am sure HE - The Chosen One - thought he'd be up 30 by now!!

Love the graph. It will be great to see the spike for Palin! A lot of us can hold
our noses now and vote for the old fart as a down payment on Palin.

So, Gallup has Obama at 8. The Kerry bounce was 4 at its peak.
So clearly, the premise of this thread was wrong, and you were wrong. The bounce happened as I said it would, as it always happens.
Can we end this now?
