I thought it was very good. Aside from attending Princeton and going to Harvard Law I didn't really know much about her. So the normally cheesy video bio really made an impact on me.

Anyone else have constructive feedback on the speech?

Yes, this marxist american hating piece of shit lied the whole way through her speech. She hates America, her burdens were raised at day care and Daddy is a stranger to them, by abandoning them for the constant seeking of ego gratification by listening to the echo of his own voice. What a bunch of empty hollow bullshit last night. Scum bag baby killing sociopaths!
disgusting!!!!!

I thought Michelle did a fantastic job. Hearing this woman speak and seeing the type of person she is shows one just how far the right will go to demonize anyone who opposes them. Compare the woman who gave the speech last night with the caricature that the right has drawn for the American people and you can starkly see what kind of Rovian slime is running the McCain campaign.

Then when you see remarks like the one above, you can see just how effective their campaign of hate is upon simple minded individuals. And to think that these morons have a voice in deciding my children's and grandchildren's future.

You empty headed losers. It was empty. It said nothing of how they will improve America, hollow of content, just like your brains. They have no clue what they are doing as a party. No direction. Hope & Change???? what a fucking joke.

Notice again they buried her presentation at 10:30 at night, buried like his VP announcement, or the Edwards cheating scandal.

Why are they so embarrased?

And to exploit his burdens...we love you daddy...the only daddy they know they see on tv, he is gone. Mommy is at work and these poor little girls love only one adult...their nanny. They know nanny better than mom and dad.

Michele did tell one telling truth, about the only period of the day she has contact with her daughters...tucking them in. She is gone all day , every day, during the entire day.

Well, I've just now finished watching the video. It'll take me a second to gather my thoughts........to say the very least, it's an emotional experience to sit and watch. All the while, I could feel my pride for my country and humankind rise up to meet the lump I had in my throat. What a powerful feeling. I was overwhelmed with emotion.

Mrs. Obama, pulled off one of the best speeches, I have ever heard. And it came from her heart. I loved the endearing stories she told. Pulling it all together with Barack and the kids at the end, made it seem so very human.

In my eyes, she has redeemed herself from that all too notorious phrase that she was finally proud of her country. It was clear as to how she felt giving that speech. And during her story telling of her hubby and their first ride with their newborn baby, I could hear a small, slight chuckle coming from her as she told it.

From beginning to end, it humanized her. She was full of grace and poise. She's a great role model for our youth. And she instills hope in a nation that has gone astray.

She's a very classy lady. And I am happy I took the time to sit and watch and listen. She rocked!

That's what this country needs. More positive thinking, rather than the negative nay sayers coming from all directions.

She's a working mother. She has stated that. It's a fact. She has the right to a career the same as you do. So ...you don't think she should be gone all day, everyday. We get that. But do you think all working women, with young children, should stay home rather than work, or what? Or are you just jealious of what Barack has, and will run your mouth just because you can? Or maybe you can't see past your color guidelines and are appalled that someone of color, could, quite possibly, become president?

Either way, Oneway, you are as your name states. A oneway person with no vision and hope for the country and world. You love to whine, bitch, and moan, but you don't show a positive attitude at all. It must be very lonely and unhappy inside your head.

Anyone else have constructive feedback on the speech?I'm sorry PhoneMistress, I watched Michelles speech and can find nothing "constuctive" to say about the Obama's except maybe that their children are adorable.

I know to much about them to change my mind over a speech......Words with no substance...Smoke and mirrors...The Obama's are masters of manipulation.

Binky, please grow a brain. She did not write this speech, like her husband, she read a teleprompter with emotion. The content was quite the opposite of her "unscripted" rantings of American hate.

and yes binky. if a couple chooses to have children, one of the two, preferably the one with the lower income should quit to raise the children full time and not get the second car, time share and wide screen tv.

The "Average Joe" doesn't go to Princeton or Harvard, so she left me feeling she's out of touch with the common man.

The generations raised by nanny's vote democrat.
It is another twisted goal in their plan. If we cannot kill them in the womb, we won't raise them...that is what nannies are for.

sick.

Come on now, oneway. Do you really care what I think? If so, why? From my many postings and how I write, do you really and truly think I'm that stupid and naive to believe she wrote it and that the behind the scenes speech writers didn't do it? Please....

Listen up and learn something for once. Not everyone in the world is out to get you. Some actually have lives they get out and live. Most don't give one hootie tootie about you.

And since you think I haven't "grown a brain," maybe you should plant the seed for yours up your behind, as apparently, you prefer thinking from the lower regions rather than from the upper, more influencial part of your anatomy. I'll have to check online to see if I can find a seed for growing a brain. If I can, I will send it to you.

But you gotta think that the people he comes in contact with on a daily basis probably like him or trust him much. That could easily make someone paranoid.

Yep. If he does come in contact with other people. If not, then he's really living in a dark world.

You both defend the obamas because like barry you hate solid tradition that works. Stay at home mom's raise the best children. Read any study done on the subject.

So... stay at home moms raise the best children, yet you would want to take away any assistance that would allow them to do so if they're single.

No woman should keep children if they are single, they should marry or place the child up for adoption. Kids need dads and moms. And one of them to stay home. Hard reality.

So, you think "kids need dads and moms", which I do agree with, by the way...

But your solution to a one parent household is to give the kid to social services who will just put the child in a group home.

Please, take some time, someday, to compare the high school graduation and incarceration rates of children from single parent households versus children who are surrendered to the state. It may change your outlook.
