I just finished listening to Michelle Obama's speech at the Democratic Convention. I thought it was an excellent speech. It will be interesting to see how slime merchants Pills Limbaugh, Hannity and the rest of them turn it into something ugly.

I think it tightened up the flock for sure. Im sure some Clinton supporters(women) made their decision to back Obama tonight after her speech.

That was the whole point of her giving the speech. That and to save face from her previous comment of that being the first time she was proud of America.

I think the whole purpose of this opening night of their convention was to bring the party together, notice how you never heard a word about McCain tonight, not one attack, Im sure that will change tomorrow. Hell they even trotted out ole Teddy Kennedy.

I also agree with you that she was addressing that comment too, but I think tonight was more about them trying to convince the Clinton supporters who are/were holding out to jump onto their side of the fence and they played it well. Obama and his handlers are some political geniuses, he's got political skills right up there with Bubba Clinton and the Bushes. Im just giving credit where credit is due.
