My friend has been on the road a lot for her political nonprofit work. She has been eating a ton of fast food, which is just so unhealthy and wrong! I'm wondering, do you all maybe have a suggestion about how she can eat healthier on the road? I was thinking leftovers but they spill.

Wow, I don't know how she can stand to eat that stuff. I can't take that crap, i mean it doesn't even taste like real food to me. Anyways, there have to be some grocery store around that she can buy some ready made food at or some quick made food like mashed potato's or mac and cheese...sandwich stuff. She doesn't have to eat all that fast food...tell her to buy a cooler or a bunch or tupperware or foldtuk containers that she can actually cook in, eat from, and store in. That's the best advice that I can give you, but with the diet craze today and with how easy it is to eat healthy, there really is no excuse to be eating fast food all day long.

Find restaurants and deli's. Fast food in moderation. Maybe she should ask people she meets on the road and get tips on good local places to eat.
Twice a year my friends and I travel a couple of states on motorcycles. We'll stop and talk to policemen, they always know where the good food is. We jokingly say we don't trust advice from skinny cops.
http://www.roadfood.com is quite useful in many cities too. Reviews from locals and travelers.

Well, McDonalds has great salads. They come in various types with or without chicken. They also have a side salad and for an added price you can have them add onions or tomato. And in the fall through winter, they have chicken noodle soup, broccoli soup and a veg. soup. I've tried the broccoli/cheese soup and it's out of this world. Yumm, yumm. You can ask for more crackers than they give you as well.
They also have a strawberry/bananna smootie or a wildberry one as well. (they are fruit drinks) Pricey tho'.
And they also sell sliced apples/grapes etc. with cream cheese.
Enjoy!

Is this question spam? What are they selling?
I doubt it's spam, but one never knows. It might have been a setup for spam.
I decided it was fine.
