I love how the whole spin being thrown again is that if we elect a democrat they will be weak on military matters. Let's look at what being strong on military matters has gotten us.
-Raised the natinoal debt by a couple of trillion...
-Entered a war of aggression against a nation with no capability to hit us and well on our way to bankrupting our country...
-The ire of the rest of world, except Israel, but who needs enemies when you have Israel as a friend it seems...
-Better start learning chinese, they own our ass now...
-An energy policy that is making the wealthy rich and the poor, well poorer...
-The gutting of our constitution to protect us..."Men who would trade freedom for safety deserve niether freedom, nor safety" (to paraphrase)
-The most incredulous actions in defiance of congress the executive branch has ever managed to pull off over a brain dead american public...
-The allowance of 911, including the worst response time ever on an invasion on American soil, in which we have been doing routine intercepts of that sort of thing for many years...
-A possible third pre-emptive strike on a nation that has not attacked us...
-Following the wishes of Bin Laden and removing our troops from Saudia Arabia
-The reduction of our currency by at least 40%...
-The worst mortgage crisis ever to face this nation, brining every major bank to its knees...
-The possibilty of another banking system crash that looms over us, including people loosing billions of dollars from their 401ks in the stock market...
Did I miss anything? Yes let's elect another president with his finger on the trigger, this one has worked out so friggin well...

Yes very much so u jerk. Weather we should be there or not we are so we need to finish what we started now that its working. Cut and run Obama will only put America in greater danger if he has his way. Next he will want to cut and run from Afganistan. I can see why he is running for President he likes to run from everything hopefully he will run just as fast away from the election. Now i no what two faced is its Obama.

You are not the only one being brain washed by poor coverage that is all one sided. Why can we not get any questions asked that are important and answered by Obama . What would be nice is if we really new who he really is and what he stands for. Again that falls back on the media if he looses which at this point i hope he does it will be the medias fault. Right now i have no trust in him and he scares a lot of voters because he has no core to him. I see him as just a star that was created by media hype no a person who is capable to run America or protect anything.

HOw is it you drew these conclusions? What tough questions would you ask him that he isnot answering?
I'm not being brainwashed by anyone, I don't watch the media,
If you want to know who he is and what he stands for, well, he's a politician, I don't understand why people are holding him to different standards than other politicans. Do we really know what any politician stands for? how about Bush, he said as part of his campaign we would not nation build, now what are we doing?
Instead of running a campaign of fear and machiavelianism, he is bringing people all over the world together. That means something in my book. It's not just movie star sensatianalism, its actually hope he's bringing to quite a few people.

You're the one making hte accusations, the burden of proof lies on you. Show me a tough question he hasn't answered. And the flip flops, all politicians change their views on things, show me a politician that doesn't flip flop...

Apparently it appears to be putting down Republicans for saying we need a strong military, by throwing everything in ,that's a real or perceived problem, but the kitchen sink; and saying that's the result of wanting a strong military.
The point seems pointless. As if electing a Democrat would fix everything, just because they wouldn't concentrate on a strong military posture.

No the point is that when you ignore everything thats happening in the country you are president of and only focus on a bogus war. This is what you get, so being strong on war doens't seem to be the best approach...

I don't see "everything else being ignored"; and I haven't seen the Democrats do any better since they've controlled the House and Senate.
BTW, remember, Congress has a part in this too.

congress doesn't have enough power to get a veto through and bush has been blocking every bill they wanted to pass. Its not like they hold the super majority.
