frankie only gets his news from one slanted right wing blog. It shouldn't be hard to figure this one out.

Only Frank can confirm what the link was. But I have an idea what it was supposed to be.

Frank said it was from Obama's site.

I was hearing on the radio today that Obama's campaign was purging his site, to delete some things that showed a different stance on issues in the past than he presently has - the Surge was one of them. Apparently they're trying to re-write history, to counter people who say he changes his position so frequently; by making it look like he never said the things he originally said. This seems to confirm that. But only Frank can tell us what it's supposed to be.

What really gets me is, how obvious and sophomoric all this seems to be.

Yet he gets such a free pass, because "people want to believe him so bad" - that's what really scares me, HT.

Day By Day" Reports on GP & Obama's Scrubbing Techniques

Day By Day (http://www.daybydaycartoon.com/2008/07/17/)cartoons reported on the Obama airbrushing techniques (http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2008/07/obama-scrubs-iraq-webpage.html) today:

http://bp3.blogger.com/_L6pDyjqqsvY/SH7EOHfDDxI/AAAAAAAAPD0/vvTNjV29iGo/s400/day+by+day.jpg (http://bp3.blogger.com/_L6pDyjqqsvY/SH7EOHfDDxI/AAAAAAAAPD0/vvTNjV29iGo/s1600-h/day+by+day.jpg)

The Obama Campaign started scrubbing items from their website (http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/2008/07/14/2008-07-14_barack_obama_purges_web_site_critique_of.html) that were critical of the Bush Surge last weekend.
They also scrubbed (http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2008/07/obama-scrubs-iraq-webpage.html) that Iraq was in a civil war.

Here is Obama's website before the scrubbing this weekend:
http://bp0.blogger.com/_L6pDyjqqsvY/SHyrgt3AEdI/AAAAAAAAPBc/zIVSaGCdjFw/s400/obama+webpage+pre+7-15 (http://bp0.blogger.com/_L6pDyjqqsvY/SHyrgt3AEdI/AAAAAAAAPBc/zIVSaGCdjFw/s1600-h/obama+webpage+pre+7-15)

This previous page (http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2008/06/how-to-read-ny-times-colmnist-frank.html)said: "The goal of the surge was to create space for Iraq's political leaders to reach an agreement to end Iraq's civil war."

And, here is Obama's current webpage (http://www.barackobama.com/issues/iraq/) on Iraq and the surge:
http://bp1.blogger.com/_L6pDyjqqsvY/SHyrIWCi9pI/AAAAAAAAPBU/lErXSUgasCc/s400/obama+webpage+7-15.JPG (http://bp1.blogger.com/_L6pDyjqqsvY/SHyrIWCi9pI/AAAAAAAAPBU/lErXSUgasCc/s1600-h/obama+webpage+7-15.JPG)

And, now (http://www.barackobama.com/issues/iraq/)... Voila!-- *poof* --No more civil war!

That's Barack Obama's special way of congratulating the troops for the phenomenal progress in Iraq.
How weak.

Of course, his current webpage is still wrong and outdated. Iraq has achieved 15 of 18 benchmarks (http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2008/07/ruh-roh-iraq-reaches-15-of-18.html)and violent attacks are down by 90% (http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2008/07/sweet-victory-attacks-in-iraq-down-90.html) over last year.

I've heard about what he posted on specifically, before he fixed the link. See my posts above.

So there is more than one source on that.
