phone wire taps, big government...... can we end this idea that we still follow the constitution?

Is the Constitution open to interpretation, sometimes, but the fact so many of these freaking decisions are 5-4 proves its more about personal politics than interpreting the Constitution.

The lack of amendments is disturbing as well. Is there any doubt in your mind that if the federal government today decided to outlaw alcohol again, that they would do so without amending the constitution like they did in the 20's? Amendments used to be fairly frequent, now, not so much, just ignore or "interpret" the Constitution to fit the big government agenda.

Then there are just the disgustingly huge ignorances of the document, specifically the 4th and 10th amendments.

The Constitution was designed to limit the powers of the federal government, anyone think that this is happening, is the Constitution doing its job?

With both parties in Washington screaming for bigger government, no, it's not.

Also funny is how people scream about ignoring the constitution when they don't like a bill or law, but when a law or bill they agree with violates the Constitution they are fine with it.

Which decision are you referring when you say "completely ignoring the 10th amendment"?

The 10th amendment is ignored completely by all branches. Around 60-80% of our federal government violates the 10th.
