This is kinda cure actually - bored students probably - making crop circles with the first ten digits of pi.

That is quite interesting.
For a crop circle to cater this much to a decimal based number system makes it seem likely it was designed to be interpreted by someone using a decimal system & since we seem to be the only ones around [locally] that must be us who do use a decimal number system.

Pi must be a universal [pan-universal?] constant, alternatively a decimal system [base 10] is somewhat arbitrary.
If we had 3 digits on our hands we might easily be using a base 3 or 6 numbering system.

So either aliens are intentionally flirting with communicating with us,
or it could be be people doing this.

I still find it hard to believe that if people were doing [most of] these things there would not be the occasional clearly apparent screw up.

It is interesting to think about, a planar creature [aka the pranksters] creating an image that they can't visually observe, so that it is visually impressive from a 3rd dimension [the aerial view].
Has interesting implications if we tried to create something in 3D that would be a 'visual' presentation from a 4th dimensional viewing angle.

According to some there are some kind of small balls of light that can be seen flashing & zooming around in the creation of these things, And the crops are perfectly bent at the same height.

It is sort of easy to see someone/something seeing the relatively uniform context of an agricultural field much like a blank canvass or uncarved block of marble.

Bill, i hope you are not implying that aliens are a bunch of idle slackers are you?
That could cause an interdimensional scandal & even lead to a poly-universal war.
Careful with the rhetoric, you never know who or what might be listening.

Now, does this mean some compulsively driven humans will go back to the many previous, photographed crop circles & try to sift them for some cogent-to-us 'meaning'?

Where do you look & how hard do you look for stuff, when you aren't certain anything worthwhile is there or not?

Them aliens ARE a bunch of slackers!

If they were on the ball they'd have abducted me long ago.

At the risk of saying the freekin obvious - get me off this rock!

I'd be more impressed if the aliens gave us the last ten digits of pi.
